My friend keep saying that they can't hear me and looked up about it.
Turns out a lot of people are having trouble with the HyperX Cloud 2's mic not being loud enough.
People have recommended getting a 3.5mm splitter, but will lose surround sound etc.

What do you guys think?

I have this headset and have/had a similar problem, for me I had to speak loudly and place the mic right next to my lips to be heard clearly...it was not that I was quiet but that the mic would rarely pick up what I was saying. So might not be the same issue as yours but I found out that the mic is extremely directional so I took off the foam cover and saw the mic was actually pointed down to the ground and not towards my face, after spinning the mic around it has helped a lot (but still not perfect).

turn the dongle mic volume up, turn the voice transmit volume up (windows microphone settings), plug the headset direct into your pc (not a powered hub), and make sure the dongle has the latest version of software.

Turned up everything. I can't turn the windows microphone settings up because it's in a way, disabled for the HyperX Cloud 2.

if it's less then a year old the dongle may be defective and Kingston can replace it. have you tried to see how you sound to your friend plugged directly into the 3.5mm jack (without the dongle).

Only a couple of weeks old. I'll have to test later with the 3.5mm jack
