Just a thought:
Make whitelist GAs and have people comment on a thread and add them to your whitelist if their profile is fine by you..
I have a winner who didn't activate my gift but my user report hasn't been answered; I wish he wins something so he can get rerolled and suspended.

Having the same problem for the moment, so I guess I'm not alone.

Well, I didn't read the whole thread, becuase I don't really have a time to do so, so if I will repeat something that was already said - I'm sorry.
Adding something into description will do nothing. I assume that majority of regifters doesn't really frequent forums, nor they care enough to read descriptions. If they would, they would know that regifting is against the rules. That might lead, I will simplyfiy it a little, to two scenarios - either regifter realize that (s)he does something wrong and (s)he stops it, or regifter realize that (s)he does something wrong but (s)he don't care and go on.
I assume that there is few people who really care, and honestly don't know about rules, so that description will help them to become better users, but I belive that wil be few individual cases.
Well, I hope you understand it. As often it was easier to express in my thought than on 'paper'. That's great, considering that I have to write a motivational letter in english (xD THAT WILL BE FUN!).
Anyway tl;dr - Don't bother. You will have to check winner anyway, and if you will find regifter, you will have to ask for re-roll anyway. If you want to track them down, I would suggest hunting on them on forum, and report them. I do that sometimes :P
Also - yes, it would be calling out. Don't do that, it's not worth it. Just reroll and report.

"If you have any games marked as received but not activated"
it is not, that everyone who has a game not activated did this because of regifting or something like that.
If you'll check me you'll find one not activated but recived game. It was in the beginning of the regionlock. I can understand, that there are people out there, that don't want me to see on their giveaways because of that but i'm not a "re-gifter" or anything.

Don't know if anybody posted something similar so I'll just shoot:
I actually don't mind having them entering my GA. In case they should win (I check every winner with SGTools) they will be rerolled and suspended. Also Regifters will have the regiftetd GA removed (maybe not immediatlely, since that's something only Moderators can do afaik) - so they won't have any CV from it.
So I'm actually looking forward to regifters winning my GAs in order to get them suspended - I think it's better they enter my GA and I report them instead of they can choose to enter only GAs where the gifter doesn't care. And in case of a denied reroll and I feel the person clearly doesn't deserve the game I'm still free to take a "not send*. I don't have to announce that beforehand.

I had a few winners who were suspended before for not activated wins. If it's a one time only and I've got the feel they are playing to the rules now, I'll gladly send them the games. (I believe in second chances and in forgiveness)
I also had the case of one high level person with two not activated games - In that case I add those people to find out what happened (instead of reporting straight away) It turned out the one game wasn't even released and the other he accidentally redeemed to the account of his girlfriend. I still gave him the game since he seemed to be a good person and before we finished talking he had bought the missing game on steam to make up for his mistake.
So, yeah, I guess I was lucky but I wouldn't think twice to not send the game blacklist the person and repeat that GA in cases where someone clearly exploits the rules and support wouldn't act. (But form my experiences one clearly can count on support to have a good measurement)

I know there's no reliable way to do it, but I'm considering to add something like this to my giveaway descriptions:
Is it going to deter anyone? Is updating the giveaway description with the proof (e.g. link to the relevant sgtools.info query) counts as "calling out"? I hope it's considered acceptable. The FAQ isn't very clear on this.
Any other ideas or suggestions?

Edit: I did everything possible to not call out anyone in this thread. Let's try to keep the discussion clean so that it doesn't need to be closed. Thank you!
