Just finished Bastion

I underestimated the ending. I thought it was a cliché one, typical video-game ending. It is not.

I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, but please buy it on HIB V and play it, you won't regreat.

I'd appreciated if no one spoiled as well. It's too much of an experience to be ruined.

Finished it too now. Rescued Zulf and set the time back. Not sure if it was the "right" decision.

Bought Bastion when it was on a Steam Sale and already played. Played it a second time, just to get the different ending. Absolutely worth it.

Bastion is stellar, no doubt about that. It was also the only game in years which had a game+ mode that I enjoyed just as much as I did the first playthrough. The soundtrack and voice acting was also impeccable!

That little walk in the last chapter was excellent, as was the game in general, but to be honest the endings weren't that great... It was your typical 'choose your video' ending like DXHR, and the videos were just a scrolling image with a little narration... underwhelming.

Aren't ending usually videos? If you failed to understand the story behind the game, then I would agree with you. But the game has a very touching story, and the choice of the ending reflects all the game. What are good endings, in your opinion?
