Do you blacklist people who don't thanks when they win your giveaway?

I generally try to thank the giver if I remember, but lately I have been forgetting >~< I really need to get back into posting a thanks for this.

I've blacklisted one person that won a game from me. When i gave him his key he said that the game was garbage and he only entered it for the cards.

I only blacklist for rules violations and acts of being absolutely terrible repeatedly on the forums (and the later is mostly temporary), so people who don't leave thanks are fine.

I appreciate it, though.

I avoid blacklisting people, so a person's behavior has to be truly awful for me to blacklist him or her.

it certainly isn't mandatory and i never expect it from winners of my giveaways atleast.

when i win something sometimes i wrote thanks, but most of the times i didn't. ofcourse if i'm chatting directly with the person i will, but i just never thought people would hold a grudge over it to tell you the truth. O_O

demanding a thanks from someone who won your give away sounds much creepier then not saying it when you win something. o_O

I stopped blacklist a long time ago. It became more trouble than it was worth.

I ... hate when peeps don't at least say thanks. I know you shouldn't expect it but when you send a gift copy of a game and prompt get unfriended once they accepted, that kinda sucks :/. Made me feel like a cheap date D:.

i only put ppl on my bl who win my ga's and have a damm bad ratio like i'm poor as hell atm i'm sitting 950 in the red and still managed to do a train with 6 gibs as if they end up thanking me or not i dont care i just hope the game goes to some one who can enjoy it

I giveaway games because I enjoy doing it, I don't ask for anything, I don't get sad or mad when they don't say thanks, cuz frankly. I don't expect anything in return. It's nice when someone says thanks, but if they don't, who cares?

You guys are fucking sad complaining about not being thanked, like some little kids trying to get attention, and when they don't, they cry.

Although I'm against such practice, I don't blacklist for these reasons. You need to seriously tick me off to get blacklisted. Being necessarily rude/prying/annoying with a fellow SG user will do that. Or have no remorse for your misdeeds.

I wouldn't blacklist for no thanks but I understand completely if you requested a thanks and was rudely ignored( give them a week?). As for thanking, personally I try to thank all my won games, it IS good etiquette( and that now I only enter games I want so am happy for any winnings).

Yes I do. There are enough thankful persons on SG and I rather have them win my GAs so ungrateful persons get excluded and the way to do so is to blacklist them.
One exception though: Users on my whitelist. They might loose their blue heart though, depending on the GA and their generosity in general and towards me in particular.

No, I only blacklist someone if I catch them regifting a game they've won from me. It's nice when a winner says thanks, because I can wish him or her to have fun with the new game. :3

It ticks me off when they don't thank after winning..and honestly? I think I have blacklisted people for not thanking, but that's because I was already grumpy before and they just pushed me over....I usually always say to myself "If they don't thank, i'm totally blacklisting!" but I never usually follow through with it, because by the time I give them enough time to thank, I usually forget that they didn't.

well, i don't blacklist people anymore. someone would really have to fuck up in a big way, before i do that. also, i personally don't mind if people don't say thanks. it's just not a big deal to me. i don't do giveaways for the thanks messages. don't get me wrong, i am glad about every nice message i get. but i don't get angry or disappointed, if i don't get one.

by the way, do you really think it's a good idea to tell people to thank you? i know many do that. often in big fat capital letters on their giveaway. i never understood that. i think it degrades every thanks you get. you told them to do so, after all. maybe they don't thank you, because they are grateful, but because you told them to do that and they know they might get blacklisted if they don't. i always thought a thanks has to come on itself. only then it's really worth something. what do you think about that? just my opinion, of course. you're free to think otherwise ;)

I actually get annoyed at having to mark messages as 'read' so i prefer no comments at all.. not even a thanks..
Though i do always try to remember to thank a gifter for the game ... (unless it's a bulk give away)
