How much did you spend?
spent about 55.5 euros
Glass Masquerade 3
Crysis Remastered Trilogy
Hogwarts Legacy (standard)
We were here forever (bundle purchase is cheaper since i had all other games in the series)
Comment has been collapsed.
Crysis remastered trilogy i must warn potential buyers of some things. Only the 2nd and 3rd is Deck Confirmed. AFAIK there are no cloud saves in any of them. And, this version is checkpoint only, no quicksave etc. so. And they are often quite far apart and the whole thing of them are just plain annoying.
Comment has been collapsed.
good thing i dont have a deck :)
and no quicksaves, only checkpoints? these things dont scare us old players - we mastered games without even autohealing back in the day xD
but still thx for the tip
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, well, at least the first game is in my opinion pretty difficult at times, and, i am not that used to FPS without quicksave, honestly. But, at the right price, sure, may be worth it. I am sure i will pick them up again sometime, since i manually saved my data from my former computer.

I don't remember if it was 2 or 3, but one of those, you can just run by all the non boss enemies if you want to.
Comment has been collapsed.
I also remember making a playthrough like this on first game. The first half of the game can be played without killing a single human. Later you get an objective to destroy a tank, which can also be achieved by running around and let your enemies throw granates at it. But I remember at some point you get an objective to kill a specific target.

~50 euros:
Red Dead Redemption 2 (19.79)
DAVE THE DIVER (13.99)
Dead Cells (11.24 since I had Risk of Rain 2)
Euro Truck Simulator 2 (1.99)
American Truck Simulator (1.99)
Castle Crashers (1.19)
I was also considering getting Elden Ring and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, but I thought I might as well slow down and grab them later on lol
Comment has been collapsed.
thanks a lot! Might get it this way.
The main reason I didn't pull the trigger on it is because I saw that during the last winter sale it was @ 40% off (vs 30% off now), so I thought I could probably find a better deal if I waited for a bit more hah

I cant buy anything because my connection to the store is janked. 90USD in the cart. Was more but one upped its price so I removed it

Orwell's Animal Farm - $0.99
Buckshot Roulette - $2.29 bundled with Inscryption
American Truck Simulator Northwest Bundle - $8.98 (Montana/Wyoming/Retrowave Paint Jobs)
Legie - $0.79
This is the Zodiac Speaking - $0.77

Fire Tonight - $1.19
Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns - $2.24
For What Will Come - $0.74

Deep Beyond - $3.49
Booth: A Dystopian Adventure - $4.99

Road 96: Mile 0 - About a Girl - $1.99
Spirited Thief - $3.59 in this bundle
Plus the Fanatical NSPCC Charity Bundle
All that is around $100. Very pleased with it.
I do however have nearly $200 in giveaways set up for the Akatsuki group, but I'm not counting that against my current total here.
I already played Buckshot Roulette. Too cool. I enjoyed it.
And I have played some of Thymesia in the past. It's one of the better Soulsborne titles from what I could tell.
The Emergency Meeting DLC for Vampire Survivors is a lot of fun. Played that a couple times already.
The Operation Guns DLC was even better. An homage to Arcade days.
And from the Fanatical bundle, I've played some of Minit Fun Racer. It is indeed fun.
Deep Beyond was short and cool Indiana Jones inspired adventure with a pretty unique look. Enjoyed it.
A Highland Song was a really cool platformer/exploration game with some interesting twists.
I am on the fence with a couple other things I've been chewing on. DayZ, Dwarf Fortress, Wrath of the Righteous Season 2 Pass, the remaining Vampire Survivors DLC with the guns. Probably a couple others I'm not remembering ATM. Will I buy them? Dunno. Probably will wait for the next Choice to drop before making any other decisions.
And I won these, leading into and during our Akatsuki group Summer Event:
Hades II
Another Crab's Treasure
ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON
Tactics Ogre: Reborn
Venba
A Highland Song
Stolen Realm
SKALD: Against the Black Priory
Chants of Sennaar
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One
Little Kitty, Big City
Judgement
Sovereign Syndicate

when you end up playing Last Stop, please let me know how it is :). It looks so good but the reviews are throwing me off a bit, I heard a lot of being "too much of a walking sim and too little of a good story", I wanna know if that's rly how it is or not, cuz steam reviews are well... steam reviews

Will do. Add me if you want, so I don't forget. I'll try to play it in the next couple weeks.

Ah, DeliberateTaco = robilar5500 from BLAEO. You play your wins, so welcome to my whitelist. It's really my only "requirement".
TBH I don't make many GAs these days, and my WL is mostly inactives on SG, but what do you do?

That's very kind to say. And the feeling's mutual.

that also might look as very cheesy comment but i couldn't care less. we have lost so many precious folks (you too, have disappeared for a year or so) for such little things that once you won't find a single interesting bit to read, here around, you quickly are aware of what you've lost. or smth like that.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's true. You never know what you've lost until it's gone.
The quality of this forum is much improved over a few years ago, but it is also certainly much more empty as well.

No problem at all. It's the real beauty of discussions like this IMO.

Nah, I just wanted the points and sale cards :) The 9 € more don't matter that much for me personally.

Was meaning to buy mhw and iceborne but some irl things came up and so that'll have to wait for a while therefore for the meantime I'm thinking of getting half life at 0.81€

Only bought Atri(new historic low, and since I own Adabana another 10% off!) and Vampire Survivors DLC(bought the OST to as it was very cheap to add on with the DLC collection bundle)
have one bigger game pending payment as I made a GA for it... can't buy inventory gifts(I wish we could get this back... valve could limit us to 1 copy in inventory to help prevent abuse)

None so far (waiting for next Choice bundle, even though extremely unlikely any of these would appear), but I'm definitely getting the following, undecided about some others:
Game | Ratings | Cards | Cheevos | Sale Price |
---|---|---|---|---|
Megacopter: Blades of the Goddess | 97% of 45 reviews | - | 🏆 | £11.46 |
A Tower Full of Cats | 99% of 745 reviews | ❤ | 🏆 | £3.09 |
DAVE THE DIVER | 97% of 95,557 reviews | ❤ | 🏆 | £8.59 |
Batman - The Telltale Series | 85% of 12,476 reviews | - | 🏆 | £4.08 |
Cozy Space Survivors | 98% of 160 reviews | - | 🏆 | £1.69 |
Total ~£29 / $37

So far I have only bought "Deadly Premonition 2". As a fan of the first part, I really wanted to play the sequel. The Switch version (which I had and eventually sold) is, unfortunately, almost unplayable due to huge performance problems (despite several patches), so I really hope that the PC port will be mostly misstep-free.

The Talos Principle 2 - $12
To The Moon - $2
And these two for others:
TUNIC - $15
Chicory: A Colorful Tale - $10
I also got Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition before the sale started but might swap it for the Standard Edition to try the game before splurging on DLCs.

How did you pay 8.10$ for Risk of Rain 2 + Survivors of the Void? It's double the price for me. 15.64$ to be exact
Comment has been collapsed.
you can get risk of rain 2 from this months humble bundle for 6$ with coupon they sent out and it comes with 7 other games

Really? Mine says " Coupon expires on June 28, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT" I missed it.

So far I've only made one purchase and it was the day before the sale started proper:
Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate - $6.39 USD
I'm planning to actually buy something during the sale but I have yet to decide what as it depends on how much wallet I can squeeze from selling cards.

Around 10$.
Chorus
Immortals Fenyx Riding
Panzer Dragoon - Remake
Banner of the Maid - The Oriental Pirate DLC
The Orange Box bundle (Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Ep1, Half Life 2 Ep2) - also included Portal but I already had that so that bit was an waste of around 0.25$...
Deck13's Good Old Days bundle (Venetica - Gold, Ankh - Anniversary, Jack Keane, Black Sails - The Ghost Ship)
I think I'm happy with these.

I don't see these threads as boasting, more of getting inspired by others.

Somewhere around $500, but majority (~$405 with shipping/tax) was on a 512 GB LCD Steam Deck for development purposes... and light gaming. ;)
Others are these games, OSTs, and DLC. Assume I bought the cheapest bundle on the store if there is one as I often owned pieces or wanted multiple titles and could save money.

The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?
You are free to include purchases from other stores or systems, besides Steam/PC.
Previous editions
Optional:
If you want to show your bought games in a chart, Lex's SG Chart Maker can do that for you.
