IdleMaster is very easy to setup... if that is to complicated for you, you don't want an idler.

Idle Master now requires to copy paste some stuff from steam website browser console to login, but other than that super easy indeed compared to ASF

To be fair, what Idle Master Extended does is much narrower in scope than the features of ASF(I never tried SAM as I don't want to look like a cheater).
As sign in to Steam doesn't work any longer from within IM I wouldn't call it a seamless experience. Nevertheless I'm still using IM as I see it as the program most focused on dropping trading cards.
OP could try some android app like Idle Daddy which comes with its own downsides but is as easy to use as it gets.

Technically is used to unlock your achievements, but I prefer to use SAM for idling games instead of setting up apps to farm games one at a time. With SAM I can open all of them and farm all of them at the same time.

But I think ASF also requires extra steps to set it up correctly, whereas SAM you just open an executable and search for the game name then click on the game's banner to open it.

Idle Master Extended does even better, no need to search anything, it will just start idling games which have card drops remaining
