Let's start the year right, with 12 Days of Indie Games
Hello there folks, it's your friendly neighbourhood slav here with a, hopefully fun, announcement. I got an idea last year to do something for the lesser-known indie games. And since Christmas was around the corner at the time, the song "12 Days of Christmas" was in my head. So starting today, January 7th (Christmas for us chad Easter Orthodox Christians in Serbia) until the 18th of January, I will post 12 reviews, one per day, for indie games that are not as widely known but deserve some love. I plan to make this an annual thing, and it's a fun way to jump-start each year, with some good indie game recommendations.
So feel free to join in and post your picks each day if you want, and bring attention to games you think are overlooked or unknown. Even with the indie scene booming, it is still quite hard to get eyes on your game since the market is oversaturated with games.

Day 1:
So with that out of the way, let's begin the 12 Days of Indie Games event with a rather fitting game for the occasion - Battle Chef Brigade ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/452570/). We all know what Christmas is truly about - stuffing yourself with as much food as humanly possible and then falling asleep in a comfy bed.

Day 2:
The second game is a fantasy-like tale, full of evil space robots, dashing your heroes, and plenty of shenanigans to go along with it - My Memory of Us (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/651500/).

Day 3:
Since most people declare "Go to the gym" as their top pick for a New Year resolution, here is a fun little runner to help you achieve your goals - EarthNight ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/777410/)

Day 4:
Shiro ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/1290710/) is quite a nice little gem I stumbled upon by accident. It's short but a fun precision platformer.

Day 5:
"A New Year, a new me", but change is always shadowed by pain, and The Müll Littoral (Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/1717370/) illustrates that masterfully.

Day 6:
After The Müll Littoral, we have Existensis ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/1476800/) yet another banger from Ozzie, as he continues to expand the world of Eré and deepen its already incredibly rich lore. A simple and short game, but one that stays with you even after the credits roll. Embark on this foolish adventure of seeking the meaning of life.

Day 7:
Akane ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/884260/) is a short arena slasher, that's easy to pick up but hard to put down, as it immediately grabs hold of you and instils that "just one more try" mindset. One clean slash, and everybody dies, including you.

Day 8:
Look, Kojima said Framed (Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/322450/) was his GOTY when the game came out. That comment alone should at least warrant a look at it, no?

Day 9:
While a pretty linear experience, with no gameplay besides walk to the left, Tsugunohi ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/1322300/) did surprise me with its great horror buildup. I think there is something unnerving in seeing normal, everyday life situations with a horror spin.

Day 10:
Continuing with the spooky vibes, The Coma ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/600090/) was such a nice surprise and a good 2D side-scrolling horror game that does manage to create one eerie school after-dark vibe. It has some minor issues, fixed in the sequel ( my next pick perhaps ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)? ), but nothing that ruins the enjoyment and some decent scares the game provides.

Day 11:
And the penultimate game is none other than The Coma 2 ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/1045720/) a sequel that improves on everything its predecessor lacked. Last spooky game I swear.

Day 12:
And this little event has reached its conclusion:
The final choice is my very first visual novel game - Aviary Attorney ( Review - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198199693727/recommended/384630/). I wasn't prepared for all of the puns, jokes and funny dialogue, and wish I could experience it all for the first time once more. A wild ride from start to finish, with no dull moment to speak of.

With that being said, hope you enjoyed this little event and the picks presented. Hopefully, some caught your eye and will grace your library soon.

Hello SteamGifts, your friendly neighbourhood slav here, with a bit of self-promotion. I decided to start my own thing, after spending about 6 months with an awesome group of reviewers (btw check them out as well, particularly these three individuals - AviaRa, UltiDK and Quirky Custodian. They helped me so much and are some of the best reviewers, well at least I think so, but you be the judge for yourself). I wanted reviewing to be a hobby again, and thus I decided to start this curator, Gospel of Sv. Prolivije.
I am not trying to cover a certain genre, the latest games or match professional journalists/game reviewers. These are just my personal thoughts about the games I play, with memes, jokes (sometimes edgy ones as well), gifs or screenshots. So expect my reviews to be 100% subjective, as when I write I want to insert a bit of myself into my work. I won't try to invent some "new" objective scale to score games. Also, I play games I know nothing about, as I don't like to restrict myself to only a particular genre, as I find it rather dull and like trying new things.
My rating system is quite simple - recommended and not recommended. I don't bother telling you if the game is worth it at this or that price, as I've had plenty of discussions in the past that showed me one thing is certain - people won't always agree on if a game is worth it at full price, on sale or deep sale. So I don't bother making those assumptions and only tell you if I find the game good or bad, and why. You are left to decide how much money you are willing to spend on it. I may "break" this rule, but only if I am absolutely enamoured with a game, and want to cement it by telling you to get the game no matter the price.
So yeah, if this sounds interesting to you, feel free to follow, or just add me as a friend if you want to chat about things or play coop games we have in common.
