What's your belief or nonbelief
And do you always hug them upfront or do you sometimes like ninjahug them from the back when they aren't looking?

Oh I'm sorry! I'm kinda new to this hugging thing since it's not as common with us hippos :/

As long as you don't do anything else with them while they sleep I'm cool with it... thats my job ;) ;)
Your name isn't 'Hugo' by any chance is it? :p (last question I promise!)

i believe in life. my son, my parents, my dog, trees, water, sun. spirituality in a religious way is not for me.

or are you just too chicken to choose between agnostic and atheist?
What the heck is wrong with you? Don't open a topic about personal beliefs just so you have an excuse to be a dick to people.
Also, estimates put the number of world religions at around 5,000 different religions, it's pretty darn intuitive to include an "Other" option.

just tell me.
It's likewise rude to insist others express their personal beliefs if they don't feel inclined to :X
i assumed something and offended you i'm sorry.
You made a comment that had no reason to be made except to be rude, in a topic where such behavior is especially inappropriate. That's all.
Well, we all are careless at times, but.. please try and be more considerate in the future? :/

i'm sorry again.
as an agnostic i assumed you were either a undecided nonbeliever or had your own spiritualistic beliefs.
agnostics and atheists would have found my comment funny.
i need more hints,
maybe a geographic location.
going through thousands of years in religious history is not that easy.

Hmm, I think your experiences with agnostics/atheists differ dramatically from my own.
Then again, I lived in the Southern U.S., where non-Christian beliefs, especially atheistic ones, were treated... well, homosexuality and atheism were, as I recall, largely considered interchangeable references. :X
In any case, there was a lot of derision and mockery and abuse toward such mindsets, which is likely why all the ones I knew/most of the ones I currently know are pretty sensitive about that sort of dismissal of the validity of their beliefs.
In any case, that's unfortunately certainly where mind goes first, with comments like that. :X
I've updated my last post with a clearer explanation of my mindset on the other matter. :P

Raised Christian, not-practicing, I'm considering filling for apostasy and joining the Orthodox church.

Dogmatic differences, I do not agree with the Pope's word being gospel, I consider the worshipping of Mary and the Saints idolatry and I consider that the Holy Spirit gave us all the possibility to understand and apply the Bible's knowledge, without having to have no one to interpret it for us.
When I said Christian I meant Roman Catholic Christian.

I mean, it's not the principal part of my life and I kinda hypocritically gloss over most of the aspects of my faith on a daily to daily basis. Having said that, I kinda wanna be an Ortodox? I don't know, I just feel like it.
If I publicly renounced to my faith it wouldn't go to well over my near family, however, it's not a big deal.

your from england so being catholic isnt that common. am i right?
are there protestant churches that aren't anglican?
i can't really believe that your family would think less of you just because you are not comfortable with organized religion.

I´m Roman Catholic, but I don´t believe in any god. I think most ethical or moral values are ok, and the charitable Institutions (school, hospitals etc) are important. this is why I pay for this stuff

Also keine Überfüllung oder ungezogene Kinder xD

I'm interested in the religious beliefs of the community.
Feel free to write about why and what you believe in.(or not)
Here is the GA
Edit: As many of you have pointed out the poll is insufficient, so i recommend to just write a comment with your beliefs .
