it will take ages to get that single entry deleted, only cg can do it (same reply i got in a ticket).
but there's no other solution unless you want to cheat (give back gift and mark as received, feels dirty).

You could ask the creator of the first giveaway you won to reroll with the copy you won from the second giveaway, but that means he has to trust you and the giveaway creator that the key will work so that's up to him

well, staff can check the keys sent to see if it's regifting or not. So we are allowed to win a game, and then giveaway the same game as long as it's a different key/copy.

Oh come on, regift it! If you first won the game and activated it, then you would buy copy of the same game what would you do? The answer is: you would make a giveaway. The result will be the same- one copy is yours, one for the community. I think that is not forbidden. Ask mods.

The due diligent thing to do is to ask for a reroll. If the request is rejected, do whatever sits well with your moral standards / conscience, and don't feel obligated to share the outcome on the forum.

I mean for you to ask the GA creator to reroll. If Support rejects it (as expected) and offers no solution, it up to you to decide what to do next. At that stage both you and the GA creator can say you practiced due diligence with this issue.

stupid question: if the support accept a reroll, will the first winner get deleted? cause there are only 8 entries and 8 copys. so no other could win (cause they still won a copy^^). so will he "win" after a reroll again or will there be no winner for this one?

If you are trustworthy, and if the GA creator does think so, you can simply not use the key so that it keeps being usable as the GA creator wants, as long as staff agrees to remove your entry from that giveaway, if possible

You will be greeted by "you have won a giveaway".. (however it is on the site at present, I only remember the green banner x3) till it gets sorted out.
There will not be a negative feedback for the creator as well (s)he won't get the CV though, but 8/8 (I am guessing private) won't get the giveaway creator the CV anyway.

Well, i won a GA
my bad, cause i didn't remove my entry after buying the game.
it was 8 copies, and 8 entries. so we all won. very nice and all, but i can't ask for a reroll, there is no one to reroll to.
can support delete just one of these GA? and remove me from winning?
i'm asking here, cause the GA creator hasn't been online yet - ofcourse i left him a msg in the GA...
update: the support ticket was passed on to cg to delete my entry, if anyone is still interested.
i'll re-update once it's "done"
Edit: 8 days later (maybe 9) i'm removed from the GA and no longer a winner. all hail cg
