Some DLCs are shown incorrectly as not owned by Steam.
This happens when you buy certain DLC packs or have a "special" or "deluxe" edition of the game that already includes certain DLCs.

sooo.. you have 2000 games, dont know wich dlc you have and want to buy them all?
how about.. buy the dlc for games you actually play, and check out wich dlc migt be good enought to buy first?
you dont need 20 dlcs for a game you never play^^

It's a fair guess you're not playing all these games. You're not gifting them either because you said so ("checking and buying DLCs for my owned games"). If you wanted to support the developers, you'd probably wanna pick your favorites (games that you actually play or plan on playing) and not indiscriminately toss money around.
So that leaves hoarding... Which is kinda sick, if you ask me.
By the way, I'm not trying to humiliate you. Just saying, if you have that much extra cash, why not give it to your local charity instead of buying games and DLC's which you'll never play?

dont try to make him feel bad for buying whatever he wants. everybody who is here has "extra cash wich could be given to charity" - like we both have games we never played. and maybe a car? save money by riding a bike. Or smoking? quit + charity. list goes on and on.
you say you dont wat to humiliate, but "wich is kinda sick" and "give it to charity" go defenitely in this direction.
i also dont understand his collectors-behaviour, but hey, there are plenty of ppl who dont understand why to smoke who dont judge me, and plenty of ppl who dont understand why you never played your worms-bundlegames and dont jugdge you - so - hey - why dont we do the same and dont judge?

I stand corrected. I apologize if I sounded like a condescending prick. But I can't apologize for being honest.
As for my Worms bundle, I bought it fairly recently because I remember playing the original on my old computer (486, before the advent of Pentium) back in the 1990's. I might play it in the future for nostalgic reasons. The entire bundle cost only $1.
Majority of the games which I never played were bought in bundles which means that they contained a game or two which I actually did play or plan on playing or did actually enjoy playing in the past, before Steam. I'm not buying every bundle that comes out just to have it. And I try to keep my wishlist fairly modest, with games that I can actually see myself playing (one of these I actually do play, but I wanna have a licensed version instead of a pirated one, so I'm waiting for a good discount). With 158 games in my Steam library, I started to get really picky about what I buy and play.
And yeah, I still think hoarding DLC's for over 2000 games he'll never get a chance to play is pretty f-ing sick. I'm not gonna lie. And I'm sorry if my observation offends him or anyone else.

Winter sale is coming :) and owning too many games on Steam i still have to find a better solution for checking and buying DLCs for my owned games!
I was wondering what method do you use for keeping track of DLCs that you don't have? Checking every game and adding every DLC separately to the Wishlist is so time consuming (specially if you own ~2000 games)
Soo, is there any app or script to list them?
Or do any of you have any better method (than adding them separately to the WL) for checking which of your games have DLCs that you don't own?
