How do you feel about achievements?
It's still one game. I'd rather have 1700 games with one achievement each.

achievements: the game. i think it could be funny to have an achievement for just about anything you could do, but i'm not buying this game (unless i buy a bundle with it, of course)

I... I don't even know what to think of it. I'm a semi-achievement hunter myself, but this is outright ridiculous.
5-6 achievements just for opening every new level, and 5-6 more for completing each one of them?
Not to mention the levels themselves will take less than a minute each to solve.
I bought the first with a coupon, and maybe I could buy the second, but I'll happily skip this one, I'd rather get "true" achievements from actual games, rather than inflate my achievements count and Astats score with this... I don't even have words to describe it.

I did a lot of achievements untill a few years ago. Had over 10k on wow etc before i quit. But then we have CS source a game i won't play again since i got CS-GO several years ago. And ofc Killing floor with all those dreadfull achievements and games like Deadlight where you need to finish the game in 1 sitting and if you die you need to restart the entire chapter.
And the controlls can be terrible in that game so....
I kinda gave up :)

Well, I'll buy that game just to be able to make my profile prettier...
As for this thread, I like getting actual achievements. Do something within a certain time, collect all things, do something tricky.
I'll usually avoid terrible grind achievements if me getting a 100% completion rate is not possible for my skills / region. (Screw those region locked DLC achievements!)
But getting achievements for opening a level is almost as ridiculous and null as all those Telltale achievements for finishing a chapter.

With a thing called SAM, people would still whine about this?
Unbelievable.
If 1 billion achievement can earn the developer and Valve money, it's all good. It's a business practice, nothing's wrong. You lose nothing by not buying the game you don't like, you get satisfaction by getting bunch of achievement if you want. Win win solution.

If they kind of "force" you to play differently, they can be. For example quite a few games allow you stealthy, or offensive approach (Dishonored, Mark of the Ninja) and the different ways to play are really different experience. But sadly these are rare exceptions.

Is it real to get all 1700 achivements in 15 minutes?

Apparently you can get over 1700 achievements for as low as 1 euro and 15 minutes of gameplay.
Personally I enjoy getting achievements in games I like but this is a bit ridiculous in my opinion.
What do you think?
The game in question is Zup! 3 http://store.steampowered.com/app/575640
