You have to enter ones other than your wishlist.
I'm on a month myself too.

Try joining Unlucky 7 for a couple of wins.

I was so frustrated not winning any games that I basically didn't use the site for like 7 years. Totally get it.

What I find useful is to look over the other smaller games that you might not otherwise buy. Bite-sized games that you can finish quickly but are still interesting experiences. There's a lot of cool indie games and such that might not be on your wishlist.

There are a couple of groups here on SG (Playing Matters or Play or Pay) for people that actually play their wins, so if you can play your wins within 30 days, you could look into those and what their individual rules are.

I'll look into those, thank you!

I say youre in the right direction. When i started out of frustration and wanting to win i entered GAs by chance and won more then a couple of games that didnt grab me at all and made me feel bad about it later. A simple +1 in the library, felt wasted on me... i shifted completely to wishlisted games only, only things i know i will play

It may take longer but sincerely FEELS MUCH MUCH BETTER. Theres real value for you, more value to the gifter and to the community as as whole (because others got the chance of something they wanted but you didnt)

That contributes to 'wining less' but i dont care. Whenever that crazy cat appears for me 'you won!' its ALWAYS great.

Your wishlist is mostly AAA titles & unbundled games - so what do you expect?

That wishlist is pretty solid though. Good selection of different genres, leaning heavily on sci-fi.

I mean yeah maybe I don't know I don't really check my wishlist I add games that I'm hyped about but like I'm not talking about winning AAA games. Whenever I log in which is pretty much everyday I find some games from my wishlist that are on giveaways, for example right now theres like 10, still I can't seem to win anything though. Sorry, I didn't want to make it seem like I was sad about not winning any AAA games

Well, if its AAA/unbundled games you want to win, you should look for more specialised groups, which are smaller (and of course you have to fulfill some entry requirements) but there you should be able to get more wins. :)
After i joined our little Akatsuki group (btw you're not ready to join there, because you don't meet the requirements......yet ^^) i've won more and more great games.
Things like:

  • God of War and God of War Ragnarok
  • Persona 4 and Persona 5 Royal
  • Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
  • FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
  • Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition
  • UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection

but also non bundled Indie-Gems like:

  • Balatro
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • Eastward
  • Stray
  • Hades 2
  • Darkest Dungeon 2

and many many more.

So, just as a quiick heads-up: there are groups for unbundled AAA and unbundled Indie-Gems out there.
But before you can join them you should have a higher Level '(and meet some requirements).
For me, joining the little Akatsuki group was the best thing ever. Since then i've won many many games. :)

I'd add that you could probably create a thread (or use this one) to ask the advice of people here.

Give the kind of game you're interested in, and many of us can probably hint you on an indie or lesser known game, but as fun as an AAA.

This would help you to search games less unbundled :)

That's actually a really great idea! I might do that in the future, not looking for a specific type of game to play right now but when I do I'll definitely create a thread, it might also help other people too.

If you want more wood try chopping down more trees, just remember to plant new ones too.

Kinda just how it is. In the past year I've won 5 games, 2 of which were public, and even then they were region restricted. Since you want to win games that you'll actually play you should keep an eye out for groups that encourage that. Playing Matters or Play or Pay were mentioned, but there's also the monthly "play a game you won on Steamgifts" you could look into.

I haven't won since September, but I didn't make time to join events for great odds such as "play a game you won on Steamgifts month".
I'd highly recommend that thread / group / activity, I think I participated like three times and each giveaway had like 20-50 entries at most.

Honestly, no wins in a year is fairly reasonable when you're only entering for games you intend to play. That's roughly how it's been for me, plus or minus a few months. I pretty much don't expect to win anything anymore (instead using this site as a way to discover good games I've never heard of), so when I do win, it's always a pleasant surprise.
