Nuclear Dawn - trade, use or give away?

just like the title, i have a small dilemma.
I got Nuclear dawn here, and i like rts and fps games so potentially this is the game for me, but i heard the servers are fairly empty.
In SteamTrades, even for games half its price it's considered a lowball.
But if i do a giveaway here, i just wanna know what does giving away in this site gives me .
