So, summer sales are coming and I need to make to buy list.
This topic is about racing games.
I heard bad reviews about racer unbounded and flatout 3, don't want old game. Also I sure that ea will not release their new NFS games on steam =/

So, guys, what you can advice me?
And I have only keyboard and mouse play, so i don't need simulators like race 07 where wheel required.

I was going to recommend pCARS, but since you have no wheel.. I have no idea what to recommend. If you have a console then try plugging in your controller and using that? If not then well.. Anything by Codemasters(not F1) or Criterion(Not Burnout Crash).

Dirt 3

get it cheap from someone who has a key from their graphics card purchase.

make sure they can prove its a legit key though.

I'd say Dirt 3 is nice. I played it a couple of times... not into racing games. NFS series is awesome. Loved that. Grid is also really nice.

If you like both Mario Kart and NFS, you might want to check Blur. Definitively a good racing game imo.

Definitely Burnout Paradise. I've gotten about 10 hours played in the last week or so, it's a blast.

Dirt series & Grid are good racing games (Analog controller is a must), Blur is fun, Trackmania is crazy and you can make your own tracks too.

I do strongly recommend a joypad

I'd suggest getting GRID, it's the absolute best I have played. It's not extremely realistic to the point it's not fun and it's not an arcade game either, so it sits comfortably in the middle with excellent results. Also, in GRID you have your own racing team, so you get to pick a teammate, your sponsors (each one with their bonus race objectives that give you extra money) and your team's colors as well as the events you want to participate in. There's a lot of different kinds of events, each with their respective kind of cars, and you even race the 24hs of LeMans.

Finally, I'd also recommend Flatout: Ultimate Carnage, it's an awesome, challenging racing game that features high speeds, offroad and urban tracks and fierce car crashes every once in a while. It's not like Burnout, though, so you won't see cars flying around just because you push them into a wall. It also has fun minigames in which you have to eject your driver to accomplish certain goals.
