If you're talking about Steam games, right now PopCap Complete Collection is only $20 USD on Steam and I think that should cover all genres of casual game. It has puzzle games, word games, tower defense, hidden object, etc. all in one package. :)

Tetrobot and Co. ?
It's cute, pretty relaxed (except for the 1 or 2 achievements that require precise timing) and still offers a good challenge in the puzzles.

+1 for Tetrobot, that's an awesome game when it comes to puzzlers. Also highly affordable in the sale right now at 75% off... or find someone with a spare key from when it was bundled earlier this year.

Life is Strange ist cool for casual gamer. When I think about girls gaming, I always think about anime look liked games and often MMORPGs. Lego games are mostly nice to play and I know a lot of girls playing Borderlands 2. Whats with Deponia? Please tell us which one you chose :)

Transistor/Bastion.Never played them but i saw some lets plays.They are both on my wishlist for long time.But you can get easily get her any console game since most of them don't have complex commands,provided she is familiar with controllers.
