Sorry to hear that, anyway get a new cat and you will feel a lot better. My old dog (14 years) passed away 28th october this year, i was very depressed, 31th october i got a new dog. I missed my old dog a lot but the new one keeps me occupied all day long. Just get a new cat, that's the best advice i have for you.

No matter the depth of what you have been through in life, losing a companion can be one of the toughest. Try and be strong for those around you and adopt as soon as possible. Not as a replacement, of course (cause there will never be one) but in honor of your cat's life and the memories you have. Hope you can squeeze some happy moments out of New Year's. But someday i'm gonna suffer your own experience and i don't know how am i going to react , im really sorry for your loss.
