Edit: gone

Edit: Apparently I can't redeem the gift because I'm not from the greatest county in the world, so...I can give your details to her and so on...

I recently received and email titled :Congratulations! YOU are a winner in the Darksiders II Giveaway!‏, Well take a look...
Here

I haven't replied to her of course. Btw i did win Darksiders 1, and I did enter the giveaway. Anyone else had this, just suspicious because of the red exclamation mark on the email. I know the image is a bit blurry but that was the best I could do.

E: The email where it came from : rachel@gameinformer.com

PS sometimes emails make warnings on emails that are legit. Not very uncommon.

Easiest way is to check her email, if its from a gmail/hotmail/yahoo/common adress then its fake.

We need to know the E-Mail address the mail came from.

Also, that picture isn't the best you can do, check the dropdown-menu that says "Resize image" before uploading, there are options to stop if from getting smaller.

I'd compare the email address they want you to mail with the one it came from. If they're the same, and both actually from the gameinformer website then it should be fine. If on the other hand it's from gameinformereditor1-uk@freewebmail.ru then delete delete delete.

Please refrain from using imageshack, as there're better websites like imgur.com

Assuming it's not an oddly specific phishing email, congrats on the win.

Hah, I'm not :), Anyone from US want me to reply to her with their personal information? Of course I would get something out of it too. Maybe some game I want.

So you expect to be rewarded for breaking the rules in a contest? Are you a fucking retard? Force them to give it to someone else, by not replying to them.

People are expected to follow the rules, but once you head online you realize that it is possible for 80% of people on any site will not follow the rules. The percentages might possibly head up to 90% if free games are involved.

Since the e-mail actually came from a gameinformer.com e-mail, I'd assume it's legit. Big congrats on ya! :)
