Will this monthly bundle be yours?
It's worth noting that Vermintide is doing an event until the 25th, where you get a free in-game item every day just from logging in. If you plan on getting the bundle and playing Vermintide, it may be worthwhile to pay early so you can start grabbing that loot every day. It's a great way to get a head start in the game.

I would assume you won't get rewards from previous days if you don't launch the game and claim them on that day, but I'm not 100% certain.

I like Vermintide, but I already own it :/
Having the DLCs will be kind of neat but ughhhhhh

So how do these monthly things actually work?
Can't get it because I only have a debit card but do you start with 1 game and then at the end of the month u get a bunch more?
I think I understand it but not 100% sure..:P

Yeah okay I just figured I'd ask because I wasn't sure. Thanks for the reply!

Maybe being an annual subscriber wasn't the best idea. Bad unlock for me, and I already had Dark Arisen from this month.

I pass this one, not interesed in the game as i don't have time to enjoy it.

I am not really keen on Vermintide (haven't pre-activated it).
I know there is a pause option like Rachel mentioned ( https://www.humblebundle.com/user/cancel-subscription ) but is it possible to pause it after the rest of the games are announced on the evening of the 6th?

but is it possible to pause it after the rest of the games are announced on the evening of the 6th? or do I just cancel my reoccuring subscription for now?
You can do either. If you wait til the 6th, though, you will have been already charged for the Vermintide/January bundle (and I'm assuming you don't want that game from your comment). You can also pause/cancel it now to skip the January bundle.

You can cancel at any time, but if you're hinting towards trying to avoid paying for the January bundle after seeing the revealed games, this possibly won't work since you're already subscribed and they will bill you beforehand.
EDIT:
Beaten again. I'm just too slow for the interwebs, it seems... smh

They initially stated the Vermintide + DLC to have a MSRP of $41.97 but that has magically changed to $32.98 since. Did anyone else notice that?

Since it was bumped already (thanks FilthySouls!), I'll bump again with a reminder -- if you're planning to unsubscribe or pause, do it now, tomorrow is billing day.
(I'm pausing for a month -- not that interested in Vermintide and my wallet is empty, so the rest of the games will probably all be on my wishlist ;))

Note: Some people may have 10% off coupons for NEW subscribers for the monthly bundle. These coupons will apply to your purchase, and you will pay $10.80 instead of $12.
Does this apply on the first month or does it stay at that price for as long as you don't unsub?

Well, if the hidden game selection was not set in stone, I have a feeling they are gonna put some good games out. I`m thinking that many people are opting out this time so it would make sense to make it the best bundle ever to bring back old and bring in new subscribers, and especially to show that the hidden games can be better/more value than the displayed teaser. #mindgames

Of course there is a point. Say u dont like Warhammer; u unsub. Friday comes and there is Mafia III, Fallout 4 and I dunno, your most wish listed game. Next time u don
t like the teaser, u might stay subbed because u don`t wanna miss out again.
Of course, the choice of games to explain my point is far fetched, but all I`m saying is that it makes the most sense to make the best bundle when the subs are lowest.

How do you know what the historical trends in the subscriber numbers are? Is this published somewhere?
Also, as far as speculation about people not liking the early revealed game goes, that seems like it would be an arbitrary thing as people's tastes vary widely and short of it being a relatively unpopular genre I think you could probably say that about any given month.

I have no clue on official statistics, thats why I said " I
m thinking that many people are opting out this time" I thought the same when they announced that --Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Starter Pack-- was the teaser for it`s respective month. It was the general vibe I got from reading the comments in the HB Monthly thread as well.
I think Stardew Valley for example was a big hit (though not my cup of tea, yet stayed subscribed), according to what I read in the comments so 1 can speculate that online multiplayer games are less desirable. Then again, I think that Rocket League must have been a good month even though it`s an online multiplayer game. I could be entirely wrong about it and I can make the case for that as well.
About peoples varied tastes, yes, I agree, that is a variable that is less easy to speculate with. (Though U could compile the information on the previous bundles that do have the info published.) In addition, one might subscribe still, even when they dont like the teaser. This can also have different reasons, trading, gifting, trying,... It
s what I have done with a few of the monthlies myself.
One thing that alters a possible succes in sales is if people already own the teaser or not, yadda yadda yadda... Just speculating, nothing more.
On speculating what game will not be in next bundle, a safe bet would be --Factorio--

Well for what it's worth I like multiplayer games but I didn't care for the Black Ops III multiplayer reveal because it was only part of a game and not the whole thing. People don't want half a game, they want the entire thing and not to feel like significant content is being withheld. I think that is an important aspect that should not be overlooked.
As far as the popularity or desirability of multiplayer games go, I do not think that this is a good place to form judgements about such based on comments in a thread, especially broad-sweeping ones. The reason I say that is because I think this is a place that tends to attract introverted people in disproportionate numbers compared to some others, and as such the introverted tend to shy away from the type of multiplayer-focused cooperative experience (of which voice communications is an integral part) that is exemplified by Vermintide. That's the theory anyway. Also, the percentage of people of who shop with Humble but at same time frequent this site and regularly engage in the community here is probably fairly low. This place may very well represent a small (albeit at times outspoken) and biased sample size that will skew results. I do not feel that making a generalization about the subscriber numbers based on people's comments here is necessarily accurate or representative of the whole.
edit: I could definitely see Factorio being in a Humble Monthly sooner or later though

Again, the irony in your reply is amazing. I do want to take some credit but it is mostly yourself who made one thing very clear, that is that you are here just to start an argument and spout some rhetorical and nihilistic nonsense.
Fwiw, the bundle was not too bad, no Factorio tho ;)
