Hi all.
I'm a newbie here, and reading the forum i found multiple occurrences of people mentioning about "train". Can someone explain what they mean by this ?

thanks!

Bunch of private giveaways linked together. The first giveaway contains a link to the second and so on.

PS : please forgive l'accentuation, clavier qwerty...

Pretty much what combatbeard said :)
It's just a fun way to give away a bunch of games instead of just listing them.

[Noob] - what is a train ?

A "train", in generalized use, is any consecutive series of objects linked together by singular progression. A nesting is any set of layered information, and [despite also being applicable to trains] would likely be the best term to use if you're using the primary alternative to a train- linking all your giveaways but one within the one remaining giveaway. (Assuming your intent is to use a single SGT filter, at least- otherwise, there's no reason you can't just link all the giveaways one-by-one within your thread post, without any nesting at all.)

As a bonus definition, a noob is someone who is belligerently unwilling to learn (and perhaps is also intellectually incapable of doing such), comparative to a newb, who is willing to learn, but has not yet had a chance to do so due to only just having been introduced to a subject. The distinction is mostly irrelevant when referencing yourself, but- by virtue of being a more thorough way of saying "idiot"- can understandably cause complications if you misuse it toward someone else.

It's a small or large number of linked giveaways that some people don't like but enter anyway, if they can. ^^
