That's why I need a fluffy young adult book. Something that doesn't have too much pretentions behind it, just a light hearted adventure or something. Easy to focus on.
For what it's worth, a lot of analysts apparently say that a lot of mail in votes and big city votes are often counted last, so sometimes things shift. Luckily I get to sleep soon. If the noisy wind lets me.

Maybe it helps to put things in perspective by realising how humanity survived world wars and nuclear threats. And at least the outcome of this election is limited to 4 years, with several safe guards.
And ALL of the things that happened and will happen on our planet are just a tiny drop in the vast ocean of the universe. So let's all see ourselves as citizens of the universe. 💙💗

Safe guards are only as reliable as the will of the people to sustain them. And if the past years taught us anything, it's that people will wreck institutions and backbones of democracy with glee. You only must provide them some story to motivate them.

It has also taught us that you will find people with courage and believes, who take great personal risks to fight oppression and violence. Even in the darkest times of history, you will find people who do what they can to help humanity and decency prevail.
And let's not forget, this is still far from the darkest times...
And when there's nothing left, there's still always hope.
