If you're afraid, and assuming you're not planning on playing it right away anyway, just buy it on discount now and refund it if it shows up in a bundle in the next 2-3 weeks.

90% off, and it's a very good game. I say buy. They probably wait for you to buy games before putting them in bundles, so if you don't buy it then it will never get bundled :p

I'm been thinking the same question too, so I told my brother bought that game for me. if Spelunky be bundle in next month then we can get the refund any moment
(because we won't play it soon so it's not a bad idea, but if you really want to play right now, trust me just buy, definitely worth it!)

The time you're wasting worrying about this problem is worth 0.59 $.

He could cover that amount,by simply selling steam cards tbh.

Buy it if you plan to play it soon. Wait if you intend to just add it to your backlog and have no intentions of playing in the near future.

Well, that answers ALL my buying questions

With a nearly 1500 game backlog it certainly works for me, although I don't always follow it. I bought the Penumbra collection(3 games) this sale for $1(priced like a Humble tier 1 bundle). In general I prefer buying them in bundles. I do buy more expensive individual games on sale once in awhile though if I really want them and intend to play them immediately like for instance Witcher 3.

Besides the good points others made (and the one I made in my previous reply), remember to factor in that when you are buying on Steam, you are able to spend GabeN Bux from sold cards / items (if you have any) rather than real money. In my mind, I'm willing to pay 25-50% more in GabeN Bux than in real cash.

It's actually at the top of my Steam playtime list, with 250 hours to finally 100% complete it.

A fantastic game, worth it's full price, and absolutely worth picking up in the current sale.

Great game, it was worth full price (I bought it twice). I would just buy it now since worst case scenario its like 60 cents and can play it now.

Wow, looks really cool actually. Reminds me of Terraria. And I checked out Crypt of the Necrodancer and in some video a guy mentioned Spelunky.
