Also, is making a giveaway with this game in it bad? I know I would get next to nothing in credit but in a few days when you can't get it free anymore someone might want it.

You shouldn't make GAs for free games. They'll get removed from the list of GAs, and you'll only give work for the mods to remove your GA.

Yeah, I saw in the rules you shouldn't give away free games. However, the rules don't specify what a free game is. The game sells for $0.99 on steam so I wouldn't consider it to be a free game. However, the key I have, I received for free. Not that I am going to, but IF i was to buy the game on steam right now would I not be able to gift it in a giveaway?
Just trying to figure out how all this works.

Free game = has been given away for free in the past.
So it doesn't matter where you got it from or if you paid for it, you won't be able to create a giveaway for it.

Okay, cool thanks. Good to know. It didn't really specify that in the FAQ as far as I saw.

Final Question: is there a way to check a games CV before creating a giveaway?
