Why do people add to the blacklist?

Ah, I'd ignore the blacklists. =)

The way I see it is that not everyone is going to like you. If a small minority add you to their blacklist, is it really a loss? There are a lot of people on SG, and a lot of them are nice people. The ones who blacklist can't enter your GAs either. It goes both ways. ;)

I use the blacklist only for users who have been mean, cruel, and abusive towards other SG users - which is probably why I only have 5 people on my blacklist.

Other people seem to use the blacklist for anything and everything - make a statement they didn't like, make a giveaway they didn't like, make a giveaway they couldn't enter, make too few giveaways, make any giveaways at all. I seriously got a blacklist once for not being racist.

My whole premise is that I try to treat others with respect as much as I can, and make giveaways as much as I can. If that's not enough for them, and they feel the need to add me to their blacklist... well, there's nothing I can do about it, and thus there's no point in me knowing about it. The ESGST plugin has a nice feature to hide your blacklist count - which, really, is a negative metric that you're powerless do to anything about, so why even worry about it. Erase that negativity from your life and lead a more positive, happy experience. :)

Congratz on level 4 mate! I mean it's a feature for people to use, and it's within their rights to do so...
I guess it's being used for everyone to block out stuff they don't like to see/hear, and if it makes them happy, kudos to them

I blacklist people if they're rude asses, straight racists etc. or just bots and rulebreakers. But then I didn't blacklist anyone since two years so...

I haven't added anyone yet but some people put me there for no reason.

I got blacklisted three times in January. I did not win a game, make a giveaway or make any comments during that time. :)

Man, I'm in 6 whitelists and 2 blacklists, and I don't even know the people behind this.

When I find a guy who won 120 games and gave away 2 or won 350 and sent 28 so there's only 1 thing to do...

I cleared my blacklist a few months back.
Not gonna bother anymore. It's pretty useless.
Best thing to do is to create a good whitelist and make giveaways for those people.

Some people blacklisted me, because I supported one infamous sg forums person. Didn't even wrote anything bad. Some people are petty and that's all.

i only blacklist people that win my GAs but then dont activate the Game unless I write them tens times :/
