I feel conflicted. I really want to buy it, and it's 10% off, but school starts tomorrow and I'm about to spend a lot of cash on coursebooks. Anybody else felt like that about a game?

No because when I was in school I didn't buy games, and now that I am in college I don't buy books.

I don't think I could get along without books. I spend more time reading than I do at any other single activity besides sleeping.

Oh crap, I was expecting a DLC, not a sequel. Yeah... I'll get Amnesia's sequel first, but after that it's a definite buy. I'll see to it when I get enough card money again.

From what I've read it take three days to play the whole game. But yeah, I was also expecting it to be a DLC.

Is this your first year of college? You'll learn very quickly that out of the ten or so 'required' texts for classes, you only need one or two. Also: major? An English major will likely need to buy lots more books than a biology major.

Nothing so generic I'm afraid. Going to study optometry, and as the course differs widely between countries and there is only one school where you can learn it here, generic advice that makes sence for a lot of things could end up being a bad idea to follow.

(Also, is college the one you attend before university or is it on the "same level"? Some things are not so easily translated.)

College is university.

College is different from university a little bit in term of higher study.

For example, University means it is qualified as a research center and teaching while College is only for teaching purpose.

Thus you would hear new discovery from a University rather than College.

School before. Game after. If you need money for school, don't buy games.

Books.google.com and international version can save you sometimes on textbooks so you can have a few bucks left to buy games.

Yeah, definitely look for your books online and stuff before you shell out the ridiculous prices bookstores want.
Otherwise, go with the schooling before the gaming.

I'll wait for this one to go on sale. It's nice and all, but I can't afford it without a heavy discount of at least 75%.
