ASRock is good from what I heard, never had one. Just had Asus and EVGA.

Asus board broke on me, had to get a replacement, took a couple weeks.

ASRock is a sub branch of ASUS. I have an ASRock board, they offer good features at good prices. I have no qualms with them.

In 2002 they were originally spun off as a low end offshoot of Asus with the intention of targeting low end OEM systems, they went wholly independent of Asus in 2006 however, were repurchased by Asus through Pegatron in 2009, but Asus divested themselves of their interest in Pegatron in 2010 leaving AsRock effectively wholly independent again.

Their entire history is a bit of a bizarre mess, but aside from a few years early in the decade Asus has had very little to do with them

That's a very simplified synopsis too, they have the most bizarre corporate history I've ever seen.

I've bought ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 motherboard for like 4 days ago. It is good for overclocking and it doesn't cost too much, also it looks pretty nice, so I will recommend you this one. :)

my favorite brand is Asus. I've tried many different motherboards over the years and MSI is the only other brand close to asus when it come to features and quality.

Running an Asrock extreme4 z77 LGA1155. Got it for a very fair price @ 115~ +extended warranty (was free). All the options an overclocker would need unless you try and break world records...
