I'm a girl myself and I don't think "the internet" has any more secrets for me. I really don't know what kind of distorted perception some guys have of us? "You game? How? how can you play video games when you don't have that special member to cheer you on????" There's a famous survey conducted last year in which the gaming populations have been evaluated. Turns out the biggest fraction of gamers are ADULT WOMEN. Yes you heard that right. They where closely followed by teenage boys. And men at the tail :).

Women were basically not allowed to do anything in the past (and by past I mean a generation or two ago). I think that has turned into "ok women are allowed to do stuff now but first all the guys must try it out and it's only your turn after we're bored". And yeah games just don't get boring and there's new releases every few months. Also the media still portrays women as weird creatures who only think of make up, boys and drama.

again, want to point out that it was meant as a joke, have been raiding(world of warcraft) with a female Raidleader and guild master for almost 4 years now, so i am 100% aware that they are no difference between male and female when it comes to how good they are at video games.
but i make jokes like this, all the time, and i'm not planing to quit that any time soon :/

I'm afraid it might be the former. The joke is everywhere, and it plays on the stereotype that most people on the internet are white nerdy guys and that if anything, the internet is below girls, and that what girls there are, are just weird dudes pretending to be girls. here i am again, your friendly neighborhood casual train creator/weirdo
So i just hit level 10, and its all thanks to you guys and girls (haha, girls on the internet...yeah right)
It feels like yesterday that i created my level 9 celebration thread, time really flies when you are creating SG trains i guess :)
