Hello friends I just created group because I had this idea,

are you buying games on sales and then you don't play them? This group is supposed to force you to play it!

I think that good start is to play them from A to Z. So I will make some recommendations (or rules) to be accurate.

Rules:
1) Start from A (if you don't have a game with this letter then follows B,C etc)
2) When completed a game, write it on the wall
3) If the game cannot be completed or you just don't like it at all, play it at least one hour to make sure
4) If it's a multiplayer game do at least a few achievments

You can suggest more or you can tell to modify mine.

You are welcome here! Just please don't be rude and tell your friends :-)

Yours Skramy

This goes around me. I definitely never buy games I don't want to play. Why would I?

for example if you buy budle full of games for 1 dollar and there are so many of them.. or you buy games on sales and don't have time for them

I normally buy games that I intend to play while they're on sale, but don't have enough time to play them later. I'm gonna play them, but in the future.

Eh, I'm already in a backlog group at this time. I certainly need it, my backlog is over 800 games.

My activity in a second backlog group would likely be close to nil really. I'll stick with the current group, even if they are enablers, constantly doing key drops and giveaways.

Are there a lot of backlog groups? I guess I should join one. My backlog is getting too big.

...this is also the first time I've used the word backlog myself. Backlog's kind of funny to say. Backlog. Backlog?

There are plenty. I'm in a private one since it has giveaways (cruel bastards don't want us beating everything we own), but I'm aware that Backloggery has their own group. I use the site myself to keep track of the games I own.

And what about if I got a game that my PC can't start the game?

Didn't think about that, so I think you have to skip it. And next improvement would be, if you completed a game (or skip it) you can add it to your completed games in you library:-)

I got windows XP and I got 3 games that they aren't compatible with XP. I guess that around 40% of Steamgifts-users don't have Vista or better.

Eh, I was able to edit configuration files to get that working. But stuff like Freedom Force, forget it.

Like DeltaBladeX, I'm already in The Backlog Attack group but great idea!
I have a blog about clearing out the backlog and not too long ago I did a post about other people doing similar things called 'We are many'. That post got a good response and I'm looking for more stories about people clearing out their backlog, would you be interested in being covered in a following 'We are many' ?
