most of them, unfortunetly. If the seller has 5+, you can bet they're not legit

yea I also thought that, then I did a bit of research on G2A,even old games like AC 2 and tom clancys splinter cell conviction are more expensive, than Watch Dogs, also I cant agree that its because "Watch Dogs is bad" many people say it,well I cant really agree, yea the game had problems, yeah it still has some small issues, yeah its not what Ubisoft promised, mostly the graphics part is the big letdown which is actually fixable and u can achieve the graphics from the trailers, but they can literally kill ur GPU unless its a beastly one...I seriously dont understand why the game sells for 2.7$
Comment has been collapsed.
Some shady GPU seller "forgot" to deliver keys and now is selling them or...
stolen keys, stolen it's always a valid point on that site.
Comment has been collapsed.
Who cares, its uplay and not steam, their support sucks so they can forget to remove stolen keys :P
Comment has been collapsed.
whats a better way to make people like uplay more? Not only their drm is cringe worthy, they are on a steam level when it comes to customer support and now i learned they also lock your account becuse of invalid keys. Seriously, whats there not to like? Makes you wonder how come millions of people arent switching to uplay already :o

Crappy optimized was a perfect description of the last GTA PC launch as well.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, but they can't do that again, Rockstar maybe is not best company for PC games, but they're for sure not that stupid like Ubisoft, who can't even optimize Tetris on PS4, Ubisoft not only optimizes games bad on PC, they do that on console as well.
Comment has been collapsed.
Unity may have been a monumental fuck up but given my experience with Rogue I'd be comfortable buying future Ubisoft games. Given the way GTA V has been mis/handled on consoles and the state of IV when released on PC I'm not expecting much. For me Ubisoft are ahead. Rockstar may learn from their mistakes but I've experienced the fact that Ubisoft have.

Whilst the primary studios where different Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu and Bucharest where involved in both. Ultimately it was still down to Ubisoft as a publisher o OK it for release in its final state.

Their 3DS version was also complete shit, and they got Nintendo to remove the other two versions of Tetris from the EShop to prevent competition from better versions. One of them was the original Gameboy game. Wish I had that now. At least I got the good 3DS version from Hudson before they died.

for a grand nothing of 50$ :D its almost close to 2.7$ ;) ;) also from what I've seen in trailers Watch Dogs might maintain graphical superiority to GTA V,which really from the trailers does look like a bit of a let down graphics wise, when Rockstar have been saying they delay the game to make the "graphics better" and fix some issues with the game...which for the graphics part I cant really see much of a difference between the console version and the version from the trailers, its just anti-aliasing and a tiny bit more detailed explosions?

Wait for optimization mods, to make GTA V looking like Skyrim looks on PC, but yeah $3 is still ultra cheap for Watch_Dogs, also you have to pay an extra 1€ for the g2a shield, I would buy without that shield, but idk, g2a and their seller don't give me any confidence :(
Comment has been collapsed.
u can activate 1 month of free G2A shield if ur new to the site, just have to enter ur cc info, and after u activate it then delete cc info and u have free month of G2A shield :),but yea u have to be careful with those sellers,u always need the shield on :D

It only appears on the Paypal page when I have to pay, the above info with the order summary was copy pasted from there. Seems they might charge extra for paying with PP.
Edit: without VAT the aditional cost is €1.53, bringing the total payment to €4.72

It's not new, it has been that cheap for a while, so definitely not stolen keys. Probably no one wants the game anymore, hype died quickly.

Uplay's patch system is terrible. Patch, restart, Patch 2, restart, Patch 3, restart, Client patch, restart, Patch 4. and so on. Also tends to eat your game saves, at least it did with my FC3, Blood Dragon, and From Dust on multiple occasions.
Comment has been collapsed.
I've never encountered anything you've stated you've experienced with UPlay. I always get quick and easy patches.
For steam however? i have to force-restart my client otherwise it delays the patches several hours for no understandable reason.
Comment has been collapsed.
Probably more to do with you being current on the game and drm. For me, I didnt play FC for awhile and had an older uplay client.
As for steam, the patches are probably que'd. Do you have a download time set or a bandwidth limit in place? Check settings -> downloads and see if anything is limited and if you have "allow download during gameplay" checked. Im using the beta client atm though, so idk.

I got one of those keys, and surprisingly the game seems well right now especially when u put the worse mod - graphical mod that make the game look like what it was presented in E3 2012,there are some stutters every now and then, but mostly works completely fine for me also there are seemingly quite a bit of players playing,it takes like 5-10 sec to find someone to hack

It's important to not patronize unauthorized resellers.

You do realize that encouraging illegitimate undercutting only accelerates the scenario you're painting, right?
Comment has been collapsed.
Illegitimate regarding G2A's unauthorized seller status and history for facilitating the resale of stolen keys (and/or keys purchased illegitimately).
That's called a black market.
Encouraging the idea that "there's nothing wrong with it" only hurts legitimate businesses and proliferates practices of skeleton staffing and the cheap labor you decry. There's more to purchasing than buying at the lowest price. In a capitalist society it's crucial to vote with your dollar.
Comment has been collapsed.
I vote with my dollar. I hate steam's anti-consumer policies and how hard they've made it to go to my favorite websites and buy my favorite games because of their monetary encouragements that games be steam-exclusive. So if I ever do by a steam game, it comes from G2A. I have never paid for a game directly from steam, I try to stick to my main distributors only. AKA GoG & Gamersgate.
I avoid steam keys at all costs until steam decides to make their platform better, their sales better, and their policies more consumer-friendly. And especially until they get a legitimate customer support service running that doesn't IGNORE 5/7 customer service tickets.

unauthorized seller status
That is actually competitive distortion. Encouraging that companies may control a market at their, and only their will, actually hurts legitimate businesses in favor of cronyist monopolies and is ultimately anti-consumer. Which is why I vote with my dollar.
Comment has been collapsed.
If that's what helps you sleep at night. I know that personally, unauthorized profiteering of my own productions is something i would never be comfortable with. I believe I am fully within my rights to control authorized pricing on any product of my own creation. You are free to believe otherwise.
I am not suggesting you bow down to corporate overlords or that large companies are not sometimes guilty of acting against the will of consumers. Simply be aware when and how you are hurting content creators by skirting economic protections.
Comment has been collapsed.
At the point of selling a key, the creator has already has his/her share and it's about the cut for the reseller. I don't see why Valve needs a huge cut for circumventing as many regulations as they can while themselves trying to impose their own regulation to maximize profits.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's not as though I'm going to change your mind or anything. Your staunch refusal to believe your actions have any negative effect on positive market factors won't flip-flop overnight.
If you're only going to weigh the short-term benefits to yourself and act blind toward the eventual economic repercussions of "bottom dollar is best," there's nothing arguing with me on an Internet messageboard is going to do for you. You can pretend you are "sending a message" to the larger business powers at be, but all you're really doing is encouraging cut-rate practices to maximize throughput at the lowest cost. Which in turn, not only hurts the modern workforce (something you appear against in earlier comments), but viciously encourages big business to continue focusing on cost over consumers and forces smaller powers to slowly collapse due to devaluing their own works in order to stay competitive (without the ability to absorb losses, such as poor customer service.)
So sit back in your armchair and be content in your crusade against "the man," while you in actuality only accelerate the downward direction of the system you claim to defend.

I don't care if re-seller is not legit.
And there's the self-centered bottom line. Why care about the fiscal future or anything beyond your own wallet, amirite?
Comment has been collapsed.
What's the problem? You like to throw your money away no one's holding you. Of course i will buy the cheapest one. All i care that the key would be acquired in a legit way, not stolen etc. G2A, kinguin and other re-sellers are perfectly fine and trustworthy. Yes there was a few cases about stolen keys. They are even advertised in valve events lol

To say the truth i prefer the 2$ from the 25$ even if is unauthorized seller, so blame the system.
Also i respect your contribution and the amount of games you have gifted here on steamgifts so thanks :)

idk,but if it turns out it was stolen and my account gets suspended or banned,or deleted or whatever, I will run a ticket to G2A asking for an actual working key,or atleast a refund(my uplay acc is empty so its not a big loss if I get banned :D )
Comment has been collapsed.
Because Watchdogs sucked horribly? I have it on Uplay. Glad I didn't pay for it. Came with my GTX760.
Comment has been collapsed.
Kinguin price is very similar 4.60 - 5.60 euro with all taxes (including VAT) included (without shield, but there is a option for it for some sellers and kinguin give this only for trusted one) from trusted sellers (not all of them of course are trusted) with tousents selled keys. So I guess that thare was some good offer. may be for russian market only, but keys are region free.

I bought watch dogs on g2a and when i activated the key, i could not install the game! It on takest me to the steam page. plz help
Comment has been collapsed.
Okay, someone bought it on Steam and thought they could sell their UPlay key. Unfortunately, the UPlay keys you get from Steam require a Steam copy, and that Steam copy can't be played without the UPlay key. Your copy won't work since you don't have it on Steam, and they can't play it either. Contact the seller.
