I LOVE this game. Played the original super-basic version that was free back in 2010-2011 (v.021). Endless replay-ability and entertainment, which the Steam version built on for an even better experience. This is WELL worth the $3.74 for the base game, or $4.98 for base and the Goat Person DLC, or if you want the soundtrack too, snag the deluxe for $6.24 !! ALL owners of the base game including those who buy right now until the sale ends get the modernized remake next Tuesday, the 18th, Desktop Dungeons Rewind for FREE. If you like tile and turn-based puzzle-roguelikes that are also quick to play, this is THE game to get.

Yes, Desktop Dungeons "Special Edition" my bad, too used to games calling them Deluxe Editions.
The Special Edition is basically the base game (Enhanced Edition) with both the Goatperson DLC and the Soundtrack

Questions (anyone can help? ):
1) as far I know this rewind version is Remastered version of original game with new graphics and some rebalanced and smaller changes? And you get it free even if you have only base version of game. Is it means that there are no difference if you have dlcs for original game or not? Not sure if rewind version includes also things from dlc and soundtrack of original game?
2) how to recognize on steam 'complete your collection' pack vs standard pack /bundle. I am not sure usually before I have one element and will check. For example for this game Desktop dungeon: if you buy base version can you complete collection or you can not buy and only buy separate dlc? I guess it is not complete collection for this game?
I ask it as I consider to buy between base and complete version. But I wonder if it is wise to buy complete version if I will maybe will play Remastered version (if it will be the same) of game and maybe it will not make sense to play original in such case? And if I change my mind I will not be able to complete original game only buy separate dlc?

1) It looks more like a remake than a remaster. Their promise is, that everyone who owns the old game gets the new game for free. No word about DLC and/or soundtrack.
2) If it's a "complete your collection" pack, it always says "BUNDLE" in light blue next to its name. If it doesn't have that, it's a "must purchase together" pack. So the Special Edition is a "must purchase together" pack. You can buy DLC and soundtrack separately:

And if you don't care for the soundtrack, base game + DLC currently are cheaper than buying the Special Edition.

Thank you for explanation/confirmation. Then I guess I will buy base version. And I will play new version soon (after release). And then if I will decide to for oame reason play older one then I will have a plenty of time to buy dlc separately in future promotions.
Ps. I am not very much into soundtracks, but not sure if it is only a separate soundtrack or also additional ingame music. If it is only separate soundtrack then for sure i dont need it.

It was bundled twice but it was 6-8 years ago and both times in the top tier.
