Yes, this happend with a GTA title and with Wolfenstein 2009 (and with others).
This can happen when a license agreement ends or is changed (not necessarily an agreement with Valve, this could also be about agreements of developers with publishers).

This giveaway: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/UQaiL inspired me to start this thread
I posted this in the game hub (and there is a similar post on the steam forums), but it didn't get much attention: http://steamcommunity.com/app/27300/discussions/0/828923952092247893/
I have had my eye on the SAW game in the steam store of awhile, and then all of a sudden it appears to had disappeared from the store.
Where has Saw gone in the store?
I can't find it when I search for it ( http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_4_4__12&term=saw )
When I search for the game via google it give me the link http://store.steampowered.com/app/27300/ but the link goes no where.
Additionally, all the people who have previously purchased the game seem to have it (such as http://steamcommunity.com/id/MacedonianVEP/games?tab=all and http://steamcommunity.com/id/unusedcustomurl/games?tab=all ). And the game hub of the game is still up and active.
Does anyone have any insight into what happened?
