I will Pre-order when I get the money to next month. Battlefield Series = instant buy for me since 1942. Nothing I have played even comes close to the BF Experience. I <3 This game!

Haven't Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines, SimCity, etc. taught people that preordering games isn't wise? Just hang on until you get actual, y'know, critical information about the game before deciding to buy it. Blind hype is not a healthy attitude.

Don't pre-order games!

Let's be fair though. I myself couldn't have been happier with my preorder of Witcher 2. Then again, that was a preorder from CDPR (i.e. from possibly the best company in the whole industry). Many Kickstarters amount to preorders as well.

The solution to hype-based preording is consumers gathering enough information to make qualified assessments of risk, not the avoidance of risk altogether. Anyone who did any research could have found out about A:CM's troubled development history, or SimCity's online requirement.

Nah, I think I'm done with Battlefield. In hindsight, BF3 was pretty crap. Yah, I've played a fair amount of it. But I never enjoyed it nearly as much as I did BF2 back in the day, or even BC2.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Something was missing from BF3... it's difficult to point to one specific thing but overall, it just felt so much more generic than the previous games.

I hate myself for saying it but the only thing I really enjoyed in BF3 was getting the unlocks. The actual gameplay just felt lacking.

The commander mode was sorely missing, that's what made BF2 stand out. BF3 was a mindless score chase and level grind similar to COD, with way too many unlocks that were mostly useless. In BF2 getting a medal or an unlock was an accomplishment, in BF3 I stopped caring.

Also, not many people will agree with me, but having played mostly Sniper in BF2, what they did to the kit in BF3 was bullshit.

After Medal of Honor: Warfighter no more pre-orders from EA for me. Never!

same for me, the story was generic as fuck just with a hint of shitty forced emotional scenes, and some of the worst AI i have seen, there were guys running through walls at one point. The multiplayer seemed good at first but just ended up getting stale quick. And of course what the fuck was up with the wife and daughter's faces and hair

have you seen the origin deluxe edition it's £10 more than the standard, and it has "bonus content" that they don't even explain what it is. It's ridiculous

Plan on pre-ordering it a bit down the line, much closer to the release date. Still need to debate whether I want it for PC or PS3, and I usually lean towards PS3 for BF games anyways (yes I know I'm odd). It's a definite pre-order, just a question of when.

I need to see more before I pre-order, BF3 was a HUGE letdown.
