Judging by the lack of any corporate logos, I'll guess it's multiplatform. (That could change in the future though.)

I always thought the first one was just some overpriced pseudo-retro crap. It's nothing like the horrible trailers they have for it show though. And it's on sale for $3 right now :o

You are aware that the original is and always was 100% free, right? They later made a much prettier version of it, which you could buy for peanuts.

I have almost 20 hours played on the first one and I somewhat just gave up... it's pretty rewarding when you figure things out but so often frustrating that it wasn't fun anymore. And I like games that are considered "hard".

If people really can't handle cryptic puzzles, it's probably not for them. On the other hand, lots of hints are written on the tablets throughout the game.. but who reads that?

(some of them can be pretty cryptic, though).

Yeah, I accidentally activated the Hard mode while thinking I'd reread a tablet when I missed a part of what was written.
