They are both on sale on GMG. Which one offers more fun?

+1 hands down... Even though BD can, and will be repetitive, it is still an enjoyable game.

Definitely Binary Domain. Alpha Protocol is too buggy. But I played BD in one run filled with ~7 hours of Coop fun with a friends. Just amazing. I'd love to play it again, sadly I've sold my XBox 360 and a bunch of games a while ago...

I'd love to play this on the PC again with someone.

Sorry, can't compare two different genres.

Edit: I love Binary Domain.

Just because they're different genres doesn't mean that you can't compare them. You can very safely say that Fallout is better than Big Rigs, for instance.

back on topic, never played BD, but I played through Alpha Protocol three times, so it's pretty good to say the least :P

Alpha Protocol if you want an amazing RPG.

I really enjoyed Binary Domain, whereas Alpha Protocol, while very interesting, was extremely... difficult to enjoy because of some really bad parts.

They're pretty different games. In Alpha Protocol the focus is very much on dialogue and making choices that affect the story, while the combat is pretty meh. In Binary Domain the combat is a lot more satisfying but the RPG bits are very underwhelming and the story is very linear and full of clichés. BD is all about the shooting, while AP also has talking and stealth.

I like both of them. They've both got their strong point and their weak points. Which one you'll enjoy more is entirely up to your personal preferences.

Binary Domain looks better.

They're completely different games, and they're both good, but I'd go for Alpha Protocol since it has a lot more gameplay value. You can play through Binary Domain in less than 10 hours and probably never want to play it again, while AP has a huge amount of different choices to make, so every playthrough will most likely be at least a little different.

I haven't tried Binary, but AP was quite fun.

I've got both, enjoyed AP a whole lot more.

BD is a decent 3rd person shooter, but a bit lackluster and B-movie feeling. Alpha Protocol isn't top of the line production either, but the story, characters and gameplay were all more enjoyable to me.

binary domain is a lot better imo, but they are totally different. watch a review for alpha protocol, its not that great, the only good part is the choices you can make, other then that its just so slow and not in a good way

AP similar to Mass Effect. BD similar to Red Faction Armageddon
