Amnesia map building?

Hey guys
So I was watching for few days now that dude playing some amnesia while cursing, shouting like a little girl and making fun from this game, and I saw he have some "custom maps" , and in the end of the map he played he said "who ever created this, you are awosome !", so I just wished to know - is there a way you can create maps on amnesia? and if so - did you created one?
I am thinking about buying this game, so any opinion about it will be great !
Demo just finished and I allready went to the bathrrom so.. wish me luck !

This shit is intense especially if you play in the dark and with some nice headset.

As for the modding sorry can't help you there I didn't look into this. I'm only aware there is a special addition made for Portal 2 release and that was incredible as well. I think I had most intense emotional rollercoaster moment in my gaming history playing through that extra. Dread, panic, resignation and a big honking WTF.. well played.

Yep, there's definitely a map editor. Haven't really tried my hand at it, but that's only because I played Amnesia before the map editor came out (played it at a friends place). Been waiting for a sale though, since it's like, really, REALLY good and I want it attached to my steam account. BTW there was totally a custom story competition held on their site a while back (frictionalgames.com), so there's plenty of good user stories to pick from.
