Just to clarify, and bump the thread) What we use is not duct tape. In fact I've seen duct tape only a couple of times here.
Blue electrical tape is what you can find on everything here) I'm even holding a pen covered in electrical tape, it's black though =)

I use duct tape for everything. I even used it on my belt once. It was a cheap-ass belt that just fell apart due to really shitty material, but with the help of duct tape, I ended up using it for a few more months until I got a new one. Duct tape just is the best.

To my dismay, my computer charger stopped working today. It's always been finicky, but this afternoon it kicked the bucket... or something.
After fiddling with it, I realized that the computer-end of the charger cord had to be held in one place. I managed to keep it on with a few pieces of red duct tape, so yay :).
