Single player is still up and they're doing what they can for the thousands of people trying to get onto servers. It happens.

oh wait, it's only the first 17 hours of their full blown non-beta running of their backend. tbh, i'm surprised the preload/etc went as well as it did. and it doesnt hurt that your single player character carries over into the co-op mode once theyve established that into full working order. chills out

Preordered it on some store, this morning they anounce that it will be released only on 5 of october in Russia(delayed by publisher). Another reason to pirate games.

Wait 2 weeks. You've lived your whole life without this game, 2 weeks won't kill you. Pirating games is for scrubs.

I am so happy they screwed just the same way Diablo did ..... xDDDD

I'll probably like both games in the end :)

The thing is that Blizzard Entertainment has thousands of employees. Runic Games has 33.

Though it's not acceptable for any company to release a non-working product, when it's a company of Blizzard's size you should be able to expect more if you ask me.

The thing is, Diablo 3 had millions of players storming the servers at once, Torchlight 2 had a few hundred thousand at best. For a game that doesn't require online connection to begin with, so the majority of the players probably didn't even try to get online. It still failed.

I'm impartial though, and will play both, but I really don't like it how people go all out on a larger dev team, and defends a smaller one no matter what. :)

I've been getting all sorts of new errors, sitting at the steam sign-in page (last step). Hope it starts working soon...

Again, just because it happened with other games doesn't make it acceptable.

I was going to play online today since i enjoyed a good session yesterday, but I got a "Strict NAT detected" message and every game fails to connect. Above that, no one in my house knows the password to change settings on the router.
