Card games like Hearthstone on Steam?

Hello, I am searching for a free-to-play card game like Hearthstone that is easy, short and fun to play with friends, preferably on Steam (or browser) so it doesn't require a client download, making it easy to install.

MGT is a little bit outdated and I have bought and played Hand of Fate already, and that latter actually costs money and isn't multiplayer :S

Or just get Magic. After all, it is what Hearthstone ripped off and simplified in the first place.

Someone brought up Infinity Wars to me but you'll have to try that yourself. I really enjoyed Might and Magic: Duel of Champions before I got into Hearthstone. There's Duelyst that's a different take on a card battle game. I assume SolForge is also on Steam and it was okay on iOS.

Plus, not pay to win at all, a lot less luck involved that in those, and all decks are balanced thanks to the token system. I really do not understand why the game has so few recognition :(

The two-man core team doesn't exactly have the manpower to get updates out very quickly, and they're too busy focusing on developing the game to market it.
I imagine those two elements keep it from attracting as much attention as it potentially could. That said, it's a fantastic game and both the developers and core community are incredibly committed and helpful- I guess it's down to us to keep trying to make more players familiar with the game's existence and merits. ^.^

In my opinion, it's perfectly playable without money. Got 84h in it

Because it gets slightly boring after you spend 1200+ hours on the game...
And me and my friend already spent both like 150 euros on it because it's theoritically play/pay to win.

I quit Dota 2 and started to play Hearthstone. Still don't know if it was a good decision. Those two are not good for my mental well-being. :)

I've watched a tutorial of that game which seemed pretty long, difficult and repetitive...
Might have gotten a wrong look on it though.

It's not that complicated.
I also have a ton of in-game codes that grant you a large sum of gold to buy booster packs, should you or anyone decide to try it out.

Magic Duels (The up-to-date MTG video game)

Star Crusade CCG (Trying very hard to be a low-budget Hearthstone Clone)

HEX: Shards of Fate (Plays like MTG but has a decent single-player campaign; though the F2P model is a bit wonky)

there's a open beta for.... eldres scroll legend it's a card game but not in steam. don't test it but well there is it check google.

Age of Rivals is an civilization CCG but with very light to no deckbuilding. On Steam http://store.steampowered.com/app/597970 as download client and Kongregate as a free-to-play browser-based game http://www.kongregate.com/games/RobotoGames/age-of-rivals.
