Jesus Christ, how many more shootings are there going to be in these upcoming months?

Don't worry, NRA will just push for less gun regulation to solve it.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Gun regulations were actually loosened in preparation for the gun legislation...which never came...

So effectively the problem is actually worse now for the most part.

All the spectators and participants should have had guns! That would have prevented this!!!

(Yes, that is sarcasm. Let's see if the NRA has a response to this incident.)

Yes, to all NRA Einsteins, seeing it's southern USA, there is 99% chance guns were legal. Ever hear of Breivik? The worst mass shooter so far? Yup, all guns also legal. As were ones of McVeight, etc, etc.

you...do realize they were joking? I'd think the !!!11one thing gave it away even if your reading comprehension was off enough not to pick up on sarcasm any of the other more subtle ways(the "/s" at the end of the statement, the deliberate misspelling, the statement of "that is sarcasm" ect)

Another reason for the USA to ban guns...

Banning guns would do nothing, they are already in the hands of millions and they will not give them up. Criminals would only profit off of a ban on guns.

for one example felons aren't allowed to buy (or be in a house with I think) guns, so for example any felon who commits a 2nd crime with a gun didn't get his legally....unless the government didn't put the paperwork through or forgot to confiscate his already owned weapons, or the seller started a gun show(loophole) in the trunk of his car and didn't check or something

Comment has been collapsed.

I did not make any claim but I'm curious about that argument as I've seen it used several times but sounds quite fallacious to me, so I was expecting actual evidence that supported his claim. In my eyes is just an assumption made by some, at least until I do see factual proof of that. I mean I was not doing that to provoke everyone, but I'm actually curious.

I was referring to dooder39's claim that this is "[a]nother reason for the USA to ban guns[.]" You're certainly not making any claims other than that those who are against gun control should back up their arguments with evidence, which is a valid argument.

No one is willing to give then up because they are still legal. Ban them and give a BIG fine to people who refuse to hand over the guns. Then suddenly no one wants to keep them because they don't want to risk a fine.

Problem solved?

Ban 'em both!

Where are your facts? Or will you just keep repeating that banning things is effective? Oh wait we have 2 million in jail and not in recovery programs because drugs are banned. You should know Dutchman you have strict guns laws and you still have mass shootings.

Lol... There is WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY less shootings here then in the USA... Yet I haven't seen any facts that support your baseless assumptions...

Also you don't even know which drugs are addictive and which not, FYI weed isn't addictive.

Comment has been collapsed.

Lol... There is WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY less population is The Netherlands (16,696,000) than the US (311,591,917) I wonder why there would be more mass shootings? Also I know marijuana isn't addictive, that point only proves my point more that banning things carelessly lead to millions going to jail/being fined for something that should be legal.

  • A poor country in Afrika.
