i have been here for 5 days and its my first time seeing ppl giving something away.

Easy, he won DNF but won't play it. Why did you enter then? Just because of few entries?
I won't apply cause I've got too many unplayed games D: And won 4 in last 3 days (haven't received one yet) so yeah(however, I've got 100% achievements in two of won games if that justifies me a bit :P)
Though I wonder about one thing - what about beta dev giveaways - like Tryst, I had it but only for a month or so.

I won Brink from one guy, who's got the key from GamersGate's Bethesda Collection. Unfortunately GG had problem with distributing the keys, so he gave me Morrovind and oblivion instead. Brink giveaway had to be deleted, because I could get banned for not activating it.

I want to join, but I find reaching that 75 percent harder than it seems. Either the game requires a better computer than I got (Quantum Conundrum), or the game crashes as soon as it loads (Magicka). Excluding the DLC, I can only reach 71 percent.

It does not help. With some of the games that our machine does not run, it is because it requires a newer operating system than what we have. Since my husband works with graphics in his job, our computer is a gaming machine. Even with a reinstall, those games will not even start. The biggest problem is with Quantum Conundrum. That game requires Windows 7, but our machine does not have it.
There is something that I might try. A neighbor owes me a favor. I could try playing at a neighbor's house tomorrow for a few minutes to both sample the games that won't run at boost my percentage high enough to qualify.

I finally got Magicka to run on our computer. The frame rate is definitely not the greatest, but it is playable now. The slow rate means that I got to lead my movements in order to survive. This will take a long time before I get the hang of it. My husband did get a pay raise, so I hope will can get a new machine soon. We still have to decide whether to get either Windows 7 or 8.
On a side note, it means that our play percentage is now at 78.

Win 8 is MS try to for closed, iOS like platform. I will avoid it like a plague no matter how it runs. Plus there is that awful "Modern UI" and I do use start a lot.

When i first read it,i got the impression that we are talking about cool people doing cool stuff(because i already know you from some other group).I had no idea that i will have a supervisor to check how many hours of my free time i will spend on playing games.
I misunderstood.....my apologies.Sorry i spoke for reasonable rules.I am not for this group :)
Perhaps we can make it a new rule on steamgifts....if you don't play all the games you win ...you will get banned (just kidding)

It's not a ridiculous notion to play the games you win,of course.That's why you want to win them.But it's totally ridiculous to tell the others what games they will play and how they will use their free time.So i guess the members of this group are "slaves" and they have a supervisor to watch if they do their job right .Sorry if this sounds bad,but i like FREEDOM in my life.

I've won 7 games and 1 DLC, out of those 7 games, I've finished 5, 1 is in progress (Red Faction: Armageddon) and I haven't played 1 yet (Trine) because I don't like playing multiple games at the same time.

Hello everyone,
I just created new private giveaway group that will accept only people who played their previous wins to keep the hoarders out and get games to people that will actually play and enjoy them.
There are few simple rules and suggestions:
Rules are subject to change and improve as I see fit. ;) (I will mostly try to improve them thou)
If you want to enter, just post it and I will check if you are eligible to enter and will or will not send you invite accordingly. Try to keep it spam free so it's more easy to see everyone that wants to enter.
P.S. There is already group giveaway in progress :P
P.P.S. It's after midnight here, so I will be sending invites in the morning, at most in about 12h.
Edit: Since people don't bother to read these days, everyone that will apply for the group and doesn't meet the requirements will be blacklisted from my giveaways.
Edit 2: D3struction and beep23 will also be replying to everyone that wants to join.
