It's the second-hand market. Every price you see there is from stocking up massive amounts of keys from bundles or the lowest sales, and selling them for their own profit, while also forgetting small things like paying taxes and such. Plus they have a flea market for keys where the source is "I have the key from… somewhere".
It is, essentially, a flea market with all the good (cheap stuff) and all the bad (if they scam you, they scam you, unless you pay an additional protection free for G2A).

Imagine ebay, if the company behind it didn't give a shit about its customers, and tried every skeevy thing they could to get an extra buck out of you, while flagrantly giving a middle finger to business laws.
There's also a lot of other skeevy things they do, like have employees try and claim the site is awesome on sites like sg (without admitting they're staff beforehand), and then when the various insecurities and illegalities are brought up, they freak out or go quiet on you.
so... tl;dr, Caveat Emptor.
Just go into it knowing what you're going into, if you choose to use the site.

Read the conversation about G2A from people who sold and bought on their site: http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/qSpSJ/eh-best-site-for-row-games
It's no surprise that most people I've talked to don't like G2A.

I've bought 3 big items from there.
Black Ops 3
Guild Wars 2 (Heart of Thorns)
Black Ops 2
Worked every time. I'd say it's safe to buy anything there. I'd use Paypal there though, just in case.

And my clanmate bought Heart of Thornes from G2A, which was blocked and his account suspended by Arena.net minutes after initial launch. OFC he did not get any refund from G2A, so he had to buy the expansion directly from Arena.net in order to lift the suspension.
Buying on G2A and similar sites is just like a raffle, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Yeah. You gotta get G2A shield with bigger purchases.
I think it helps with that if it fails. Something like that.

i buy and sell on g2a, just signup for the 1 month trial of g2a shield and youre covered, if a key or whatever you get is no good, bam you open a dispute or whatever and it should be resolved in your favor because that is their "g2a shield guarantee". otherwise you end up paying like 1 something per game you buy for the shield. so for the next month they charged me 1.42 for the monthly shield but then it was canceled so idk, i still have shield and i wasnt charged. ive gotten multiple $80~ bundles from steam on there for $1.50 to $9, so major savings. if people here are against g2a ive no idea why. the only bad thing ive had happen so far was that i bought 4 keys from someone and all of them were region locked/bs and so i had to file a dispute, i opted NOT to work it out with the seller and was immediately refunded (here is the part i didnt like), though i was refunded the funds were locked in g2a for TWO weeks before i could use it (not exactly a refund). after that i learned about their gift cards so i could add funds to my "g2a wallet" which allowed me to make purchases without the crazy paypal fees. a 10 cent game could cost you 50 cents after paypal fee.... but from g2a wallet its 10 cents, no fee. only problem with the gift card crap is that since im using USD and the site is EUR a $20 card cost me like $22-$23, conversion fee, paypal blah blah idk.
selling, its a pain in the ass, first they lock your listing and you have create a ticket where they ask for proof of purchase, this requires screenshots of the key/price/blah blah blah, its a true pain in the rear, but if you can manage then your good. problem #2, after your first 10 free listings it cost 15 cents for each additional. ON TOP of that they take 35 cents PER SALE, on top of thattttttttttttt they take 8% of the sale. soooooo if you sold a game for $1 they take .35 selling fee, .08 for 8% fee (idk if they take from initial sale or after the .35 is taken out) and if you are past your 10 free listings it cost you .15 to list it, lol. you sold a game for $1 and you get .48, less than half. that is one of my gripes with the site, they take a huge % of transactions
(that is my g2a experience, ive managed to make $60~ in a months time from 0 so ill take it)

G2A is fine in my opinion. If you know which people you should buy from, you're safe. If one guy is selling Black Ops 3 for 5$ while everyone else is selling for 30, and he doesn't have a good rep percentage, then it's too good to be true. I never used G2A shield in my life, except once when I forgot to turn it off.

I want to see the sellers' reviews but they won't allow me to view them

I think it's just Bethesda and their "fuck customers" pricing.
From marketing 101, it's better to sell $50 with -80% than $30 with -66%, even through it will be exactly same price. Customer will think it's much better deal to get -80% than -66%.
Also, they had same sale % during Black Friday sale month ago.

Bethesda is known to make various "fuck customers" sales, where for example buying DLCs is much more expensive than buying complete bundle (like Skyrim's DLCs with -50% sale totaling to over $20 vs Legendary Edition for like $13 ).
Don't be surprised when during Winter Sale 2016 Fallout 4 will get -50%, Fallout 4 + Season Pass bundle will get like -70% making it $5 more expensive than base game, while Season Pass alone will not get even -1% sale :P

still waiting for it, paid for it but havent got it yet

Nah its no problem, i've already but on that site, they are resellers and they sell a lot during the sales so they are quite slow during this time, but i trust the site

well, G2A, HRK, and the like aren't going anywhere tbh, that was the point I was trying to get at. if you enter GA's on SG, that's the risk you take, you never know for 100% where game is coming from unless it's an actual steam gift or humblebundle/indiegala gift link.
Comment has been collapsed.
Can you explain whats the point where key came from? I mean all i care is play the game(not card farming). I buy games from bundlestars, humblebundle, indiegala, g2a, hrk. So far everything worked fine. I bet most people on this site level up using this way doing group giveaways. I'm 99% sure they don't buy it full price, it's same way you don't buy bundled games on full price dont you?

Some people do seem to care where the key came from.
Some of the users commenting on this post seem to have some sort of disdain towards sites like G2A and HRK, that's why we're having this conversation.
I buy bundles to do GA's and no, I don't buy full-price not for myself and not for GA's either. However, you can buy games for yourself or for giveaways without having to resort to these semi-legal sites like G2A and HRK.

There's no actual risk to the recipient, though, unless the creator tries to put the blame on a dead key on them.
You lose some free points and some time, nothing more.
The creator is the one that has to deal with key recovery/not-received elements.
As far as avoiding G2A goes, no, we can't avoid that, anymore than the shit-ton of other scamming, exploiting, cheating, etc behaviors rampant on the site.
Doesn't mean we should support it, any more than we support the other negative behaviors- even if there's less we can do to recognize when it's happening.

I'm totally with you, if it's not something I'd feel comfortable putting on my account than I'm sure as hell not going to give it away to others. However, some people think differently. These sites do brush shoulders with legality - but as far as censoring posts about these sites - well, that's up to SG and its' mods.

indeed.
One good example is https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/ , where "Unauthorized CD key resellers" are "Not Allowed" :)
Comment has been collapsed.
As long as you get yourself a proof of payment ... it is legal and honorable. Same shit goes with retail. In my country I can buy from retail games that are 2-3 times cheaper than Steam Store. If you wait just a bit long after an official launch for a game you will find it in retail at a better price than on Steam. I guess that happens with Kinguin. There is nothing illegal as long as the keys are valid.
Comment has been collapsed.
Unauthorized based on what exactly? Do they sell stolen keys? Ah, yes, if you buy the keys from Russia and use a VPN to activate it, yeah, that's a bubu. But not for Kinguin...for the user. I repeat. As long as the keys are valid and can be activated on Steam, Origin, UPlay, GoG, Battle.net ... why is Kinguin unauthorized? That's a thing i will never understand.
Comment has been collapsed.
From what I know, kinguin and g2a does not pay the developers any money when selling the game. They sell keys that come from many different origins (which accounts for their cheap prices), being that some games keys were released for giveaway purposes/ testing (i.e should not be sold for money).
Also being unauthorized means that they arent backed by/ had permission from the developers and publishers that sell the games, sort of like profiting without paying royalties. The unauthorized reseller part is just a fact, nothing really negative about it.
I don't mind buying from them, but most people don't, because they are a little shady. Don't get offended too by people who don't want to buy from them, they have their reasons(afraid of getting scammed/ do not approve of their business model), we have ours(cheap games).
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, over 1 year has passed since I started buying from Kinguin. Bought over 30 games without any single issue whatsoever. Games are still in my libraries ... but yeah ... i forgot the part with the developers money. But, if I can buy a game with 20$ instead of 50$ a few months after the launch ... let's be honest ... what price would you choose? And taking in consideration the risks ... it's worth every single penny ... cause the risks are minimum.

Never had probs with g2a. Just don't buy to cheap!

hhheeey points finger thats the site I use to buy games for card farming leaves

It's always fun when someone mentions g2a. The way I look at it, there must be a reason why steam censor that page.
