I enjoy not winning giveaways and letting my entries pile up, I feel like they are points of some sort. The really high number of entry games usually cost a lot of points. It's a much lower chance of winning, but still only increases my number of entries by one point. I love forum giveaways too, because although they don't add an entry, it doesn't add to my wins if I manage to win something, again.

(I don't enter for games I don't want, just to be clear. It's just.... losing is fun.)

Dude, I'm with ya. I'm worried that if I ever actually won anything I wouldn't play it enough and I'd feel bad.

took me 500 entrees on the dot to win my first game what a way to end a losing streak eh?

Same here. I will probably be happy I won, but will feel guilty about it. That's why I don't try to join gift groups or go to a lot of effort to increase my chances (such as really taking a crack at puzzles).

You have 0 wins, you wouldn't know that it's better, you just assume it will be.

You've been blessed by not having your streak broke too incredibly early, and I hope you get more points than you know what to do with!

So, the higher the number of entries, the better the status on Steam Gifts will be?
Hmmm... Never thought of it.

Nah, having more points doesn't make you any better. It's just, points are nice to have. How many points others have is meaningless.

I see, but oh well, doesn't matter, as long as people are having fun then anything's ok.

The only shitty part about being a good sport is that you have to lose to prove it :P

I was going to make a witty reply, but then I looked away and forgot I'd seen this. (slightly ashamed it took me this long to recognize the avatar)

Losing is always fun if you stick around more in the forums, kinda makes you forget about the whole point of the site from time to time, brings me back to my old days.
