Norton actually isn't all that bad, it's usually just configured poorly by the user. If you configure it correctly it's fairly decent.
That being said, I don't use it because I think it's overkill and I don't really trust people enough to install things that scan my PC.

You get a free 6 month license for the full Internet Security version, not the free version.

Kaspersky eats quite a buch of ram for some reason.

Is 95MB a lot? Because that's what KES10 is using on my PC right now. Doesn't look that much to me, but I can't really compare with others since I don't use them.
I've tried Free AV in the past, but they tend to bury you in False Positives...although from what I hear, Avast is pretty decent.

best free antivirus from it's Avast...and yes, it found viruses!

all antiviruses are shit. If you'll get serious virus that would fuck up your system, none av will help, you need professional for it or at least proper tools that av dont have. for everything else, mse is good enough

Had Bitdefender installed for a few months, was the worst I ever tried. (And that's coming from someone who used McAfee for years before that.) Randomly crashing, false positives, deleting random email messages even with the email scanner turned off. Some of the problems being discussed on their forum with the company promising a fix, 2 years before, and still nothing done about it.

Hmmm I see, I have it for some months, no problems so far, its all about trying new stuffs xP I had kaspersky before and I didn't liked it for consuming a good bunch of ram

MSE is all you need, lightweight, fast and easy to use.
you must be a DAU when you think that you need another Antivirus

Avast+Brain is pretty enough i think.
Thanks for sharing though.

You need to:
1) Facebook account
2) Answer the stupid questionnaire
3) Share the result and check your email/spam for your 6 months license code
