err man...if you select region restriction when creating giveaway, rest of us can't see the giveaway. At all.you didn't have to worry about someone sneaking in.

Unfortunately there's no option for North America only region restriction. Only Polish, RU+CIS, SE Asia, South America and Turkey.

That's because there is no game that can only be activated on North America. All games purchased on Steam in North America are ROW keys.
Edit: Well, apparently there is... if you buy them from certain retailers. Sorry. :/

Well I don't know for sure 100%. All I know is I bought them on Amazon, which lists them as North America only, and I remember people complaining a while back that the keys were region restricted. I'm erring on the side of caution with this giveaway pretty much.

I remember I got four copies of NBA 2K14 a year or so ago at Amazon because I was able to get each for $1 and did my own giveaways back then. Wonder if you got in on the same deal.

Thanks, I got the idea from someone here who did something similar a month or so back.
Also I deleted the giveaway and changed the CV requirement to 4. I figured 5 was a little too high, but I still think 3 or less is a little too low so 4 should be good. I'll whitelist you so you can enter if you want.

It shouldn't, no. But typically when I do giveaways I almost always have a CV requirement and make it higher or lower depending on how much the game is worth.
It's my way of rewarding people who do giveaways (there's just too many people who enter giveaways, but barely give back at all).. I'd rather the people who contribute more have a better shot at winning a better game.

I have some North America restricted Steam keys for NBA 2K14 I'm doing a giveaway for.
