I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but I managed to pay very little for Half Life 2 episodes 1 & 2 and Left 4 Dead by getting the https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/232/Valve_Complete_Pack/ Valve Complete Pack, as I already had a bunch of the other games.
