Avast hates steam? HELP MEEEEE!

Just add an exclusion to the whole steam folder,

same happens today for me.

try this

1: Open Avast

2: Go into File System Shield

3: Open up the tab ''Expert Settings''

4: Open up ''Exceptions''

5: Browse your files and search for: C:\Program Files\Steam\bin* (Add the entire folder)

1. End Avast.
2. Start Steam.
3. Start Avast.
4. ???
5. Profit.

So I uninstalled Avast and using Microsoft Security Essentials now.

I had it too :p

I use McAfee (came free with my cable) and it doesn't block anything but download sites and ofc pr0n.

GET NEW ANTIVIRUS!
