Gremlins take your points and enter you for a random chance of winning in a giveaway. In the event of winning, said gremlins place a green banner on the steamgifts saying that you have won a giveaway. If you've gotten to this point, you probably have read the FAQs a few times and can predict what happens next.

Stop this bullshit. First, read this, it has all you need.
Second, there is no "how to win", because everyone who entered to win has absolutely equal chances to be the winner as all others who did that with the same giveaway.
And it matters not, whether you entered first, last or in between. You just entered - now you have a chance to win.
