Pretty much. If they don't give you the gift, no one else should be expected to. They just get a red mark on their profile, and less people will trust the user and their giveaways.

Make sure you've check your email,it might have been sent there. Maybe the guy is simply offline,didn't see your request or thought you were a bot. Try leaving a comment if his privacy settings allow. If nothing works,mark as not received. Nothing really comes out of it except the guy doesn't get anything for that giveaway and if it happens too many times he'll get banned.

On the 7th day he rested and marked the game as "not received".
Seriously though, I recently had the same issue. Less than a day after I marked the game as not received I got an email from the guy apologizing for the lateness and he came through with the code. Hopefully you'll have the same luck.

Hi, i'm here for some time now, but this has never happened to me before. So i won a giveaway, but it's been 6 days, and the dude didn't contact me about my reward. I added him on Steam, but he didn't accept it, so my question is, what happens if the trade doesn't happen? I mean, i'm not angry or impatient, (though i was happy about i won a skin for one of my favorite games) just wanna know what happens now?
