I guess it is. At least I see no reason to keep it online otherwise. Also, it's creator gave away a lot of games on steamgifts. But I don't use this site anyway, since it's too annoying.

Perhaps.
I am not utilized.

There is no problem if you do not care about tracking and ads.
I am scared of "Area 51" tracking.

They based on Steam curator, and didn't ask informations, and I received some prizes. so believed that legit sites.

I have been a member of Zeepond (just a regular user) for about 18 months now. As far as I can tell (and I am very naive, so I could be wrong), the site is completely legit.

I mean, I have not provided them with tons of personal information (at least nothing you can't get elsewhere); I do not receive any spam from them (E-mails every time I win a GA, only); and I have won a lot of games from them (about 40).

Their GAs are mostly small indies, a good amount of Alawar Time Management games, some leftovers from bundles, and a few big releases. I have not seen any GAs for the complete trash you see on Steam every week.

Besides, the few interactions I have had with the site managers were very friendly; and the site is not just about GAs -- they regularly post reviews (both on their site and on Steam itself) about the games they give away.

Now, well, the site isn't the cleanest... It feels designed to get the highest number of clicks possible from any user, and there are LOTS of ads everywhere.

And, yes, I am completely aware that by saying these things I am shooting myself in the foot -- more users there mean less chance for me to win their GAs... :D

Cheers!

Thank you, mate, for your comments.

I also would like to add that we publish press releases on our forum, which we receive from Developers, Publishers, PR Companies and major gaming organisations.

Hi, Captain. :D

Any news on the Zeepond website? As you very probably know, it has been down for many days now... trouble with IP providers? I hope you folks are doing well... It is a pity, since the new formatting was looking good.

Cheers!

Commenting on a 3 year old thread? You could have commented on one of his giveaways instead…?

Seems more efficient to revive a relevant older thread where more people can also see it and potentially offer insight as to the person's question. Whereas commenting on a g/a opens no discourse and doesn't guarantee the g/a host will even bother responding.

The g/a host in question was one of the people who ran Zeepond, not just some random.
Better to get an answer from the horse's mouth, than gossip from some geese.

Nah. Logically, if the site is having issues, dude isn't gonna be hanging out on SG to see if someone left a message on one of his giveaways. Resurrecting a thread with purpose is the correct way to go. And if dude does suddenly reappear, then he'll answer the question for all to see. Transparency is always appreciated.

And really, there is literally nothing offensive in our compadre reopening a thread for an actual reason. These threads exist to have discourse.

Hi guys,

I am the founder of Zeepond.

www.zeepond.com was launched in September 2016 under the banner of Zeepond PTY LTD which is an Australian Registered Company. We are totally legit and all the company info have been passed to Valve, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and many other companies. We were part of the Media frenzy at E3 2019. What an experience that was!

Yes, we are advertising on Social Networks and it has been very good for a small company like us.

In terms of the site speed, yes it could be better I guess. However, we need to protect the site against DDoS attacks and that is impacting the speed a bit.

I do recognise some names here and it is very nice to see they vouch for us!

Have a great day/night.

We updated our server last week and pages are now loading between 2 to 3 seconds.

It's the same loading time that this site.

3.32 seconds on the main page and 2.54 seconds on our giveaway page which both pages include 2 Google ads and 3 banners. In reference. this page loaded in 2.93 seconds for me.

It fast mate, please see the screenshots on the link below:

Oh, and I don't use adblockers so I compare apples with apples.

Since social media started censoring, I rarely use it as its now a 1 sided political tool.
The other side underground social media isnt for me either.

If you can point me to a neutral social media, I'd tune in to see what both sides are squawking about.
I dont want to drink the zealot kool-aid of either side.

I call or text people I want to without social media deciding what I should read and think. I have a problem with being told what to think and prefer listening to critical thinking.

Yes, it is not good that these social platforms are stating censoring and especially on the political spectrum.

It is a shame but in terms of advertising, they reach more people, better-qualified clicks and mostly far way cheaper than Google Adwords.

You make an extremely good point by pointing out that these social platforms should be Neutral.

A colleague of mine won the main prize on their Zeepod site at one time (a top-up of the Steam account) and owner began combining and looking for ways to avoid giving him the prize. The service owner taunted him, blocked and that was the end. So he was cheated.

I also had a problem with it. At one time Steamgifts allowed you to win one game more than once. The big problem was to reroll a game to another player when I won one game twice at the same moment. Appealing finally succeeded - but I was also blocked for it by Zeepod. So much unreliable behavior is rampant with Zeepod. Both here and on the main site.

So from my own experience: main site it's not legit. You may encounter a situation where you win but do not receive the prize.

Won several prizes in the past with no problems, one bad experience doesn't reflect the rest of the site, although last i joined was year ago.
I totally forgot about this site.

it's a legit site but it is guarded by tight security mixed with paranoia. you can get banned anytime because you triggered alerts in their security system. in my case i got perma banned for rapidly entering daily entries on the 3 steam gift card giveaways then a month later another perma banned for entering the wrong password repeatedly
after that debacle, days later, Zeepond region locked all their gleam giveaways :I

I won Indivisible on the site, the key worked and everything was fine. I have stopped using it in the meantime as it was a hassle to enter the same giveaway five times a day to maybe win it, so stopped.
