If you did not activate the key, there is no problem then you can give it to the winner of your GA.

yes you can, clic on create giveaway and follow the instructions.

Just enter the code when creating your GA (to there where it asks for Keys), and after the GA finishes click on the Send Key button in front of the key. Easier than handling links.
