These guys did an excellent job at answering your question, so there's not much left to add except ~ Welcome to SteamGifts :)

Welcome to Steamgifts, Dio94! I will be your guide
First of all, you should read the FAQ/Rules to begin with, as most incompetent idiots newer users usually fail to do so, which likely results in getting the banhammer on the head getting into trouble. If you already read the FAQ/Rules, then that's good. :)
To answer your question, as long as the game can still be activated, everything's fine. In your case, everything's good.

Just wanted to know. I made one of my games from a bundle into a gift link and sent the link to myself by accident. I have the code but haven't activated it on Steam yet. Can I use this code for a giveaway? I didn't mean to make it into a link and I just want to give it to some people because I already have the game.
