That's not particularly good logic. It's probably roughly a 50% chance to be a 10% discount, 25% chance to be a 20% discount, 15% chance to be a 30% discount, 9.9999999% chance to be a 40% discount, and a 0.0000001% chance to be a 100% discount.
And a warning: As stated in the original post, you won't know what discount you got until you've already bought the item(s).

I got an Origin discount code today, which is valid until the 1. November and only for US or Canadian customers.
They say it's a "surprise discount", which means you will get either a 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% or even a 100 % discount, but I guess you won't know until checkout.
